I always liked the OG F-Zero songs more, but I really like this one, it fits the desert vibe, it's relaxing and has energy at the same time. I especially love the climax at 0:54, pun not intended.
Thank you Nintendo and Sega for making this happen. I actually hate metal, but oh my gosh, something about F-Zero’s soundtrack makes me loooove it even though it’s normally not at all my genre of music. Nostalgia plays a part I guess as I grew up with the GameCube.
You hate metal? Have you tried Nightwish? They're a female-fronted symphonic metal band from Finland. Check 'em out - they're not what you're probably expecting.
@@reeyees50 I suppose hate is a strong word, I am picky about it, I do enjoy some. Just hoarsely screaming old guys doesn’t work for me usually. But there is certainly good metal out there. I do like Skillet and disturbed, although those are probably a pretty basic answer.
@@SinRuin Hell yeah, good recommendation, Chemlab is "Industrial Rock" and KMFDM is mostly EDM but also has a lot of Industrial and Industrial Rock influence. This song is very similar to what would be an instrumental Industrial Metal/Rock song, something Chemlab does.
One of the few games where I can tolerate heavy metal songs. The speed of the game perfectly blends with the music, same with series like Doom and Serious Sam.
That one gamer kid when he does go karts: Okay time to engage no clip mode *Proceeds to crash into a wall. What the heck😮 *continues to crash into the wall. Random kid: touch some grass kid.
For several years now, I've often driven with this tune playing my 5-cylinder Volvo (which was named after Jody Summer, BTW). Can't tell you how many times I've hit well over a buck on an interstate at night with this playing 🤣
So relaxing.
