Suggestion with the candles....when using soy wax with clear vessels be sure to heat up your vessels (200 degree oven for a bit) before pouring your wax to help avoid getting "wet spots" which can deter from the look of the finished product. Also, just a thought...maybe come up with some "bookish" themed candles to tie in with your branding...since you seem to be leaning in that direction. Best of luck with your new products!!
@@PalmCreative I just place them on a baking sheet in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 - 20 mins. For me it makes a huge difference. And of course you want to make sure they are curing in an area that is not cold or drafty.
You aren't alone with your holiday season stress an anxiety sometimes I freeze when I have too much to do. Take it one day at a time you have a lot of great ideas
Fragrance Oils are strong on there own. But can change/weaken in wax. Be sure to test different fragrance loads (5%, 8%, ect) for each fragrance to make sure they burn safely
Thank you! I am starting on a lower fragrance burn (6% was what I saw was best for what I have) and then will see if things need to be adjusted but for sure will make sure to not overload it!
I was also going through the same situation in regards to business and moving. Nothing has really worked out for us here in Austin, TX and moved from LA ( I am originally from OC, CA). We are now moving to Oregon in hopes that it will all be better for us and the business. We are actually driving out to Oregon in a couple of days Nov 10. I know how stressful it can be especially when you're trying to build your business and come up with ideas on top of life stress and worry. Hang in there, it will all work out.
This made me feel so much less alone thank you for sharing this! Its been hard and makes the business side of things exhausting. Sending you all the vibes that Oregon works out for you! I love Oregon and was born there 💖
I feel the holidays came up so quickly and I was not prepared. I did what I could for a holiday launch and have added a few things since but I just had to let it go. I need to just start earlier next year and get in a better flow. I feel like I’m in a constant state of catch up 🫠
It's ok to be down sometime, and you are doing a great job. I love your videos, and don't give up. Remember, as a child, you would fall and get up immediately, cry a few tears, and keep going.
I’d love to have the Creative Department design in a gray sweatshirt. I worked for a business that had a creative department and I worked there. But as a small biz owner I’d love that sweatshirt.💜
Can you skoot your double shelf closer to the door and add another shelf or two in that corner? I love the desk systems with the drawer/cube shelf units as the legs.

Yes I am actually doing bookish themed ones! I saw a few people recommend heating the vessels. Whats the best way to go about that? Thanks so much!

Try putting you hand behind sticker/infant of face to help camera focus
