I remember when Britney had her meltdown, South Park was weirdly the only show that defended her & showed her as the victim in that whole situation. They portrayed her management, the media, the paparazzi & obsessive fans/haters as monsters who were sucking the life out of her.

yeah I heard something like that. Because of world War 1 and/or world War 2, so many men were away so their razor sales dropped. So they "had" to market to women. then when the men came home their sales doubled essentially. 🙄 women's shaving products tend to be lower quality as well (so they need to be bought more often). So if any ladies out there want to shave, get men's razors!
Personally I think women shouldn't be shamed into it but it wouldn't hurt men to trim.. and it is if not more hygienic at least reduces smells and stains

Back in the day people thought of Britney as trailer trash. She was photographed walking barefoot through a gas station(?) or something. Anyways the media totally twisted it
Britney is pretty country. However, if she was trailer trash, it was no fault of her own. Her parents are the biggest trailer trash around, plus her dad is halfway illiterate. I think Britney rubber-banded a bit & started acting more "country" to feel a little bit more like she was back home. She expressed often back then that she was fed up with LA/Hollywood lifestyle and wanted to actually go home, but she feared that moving would be an admission of disinterest in vying for custody with Federline.
It's even sadder when you consider the fact that growing up, Britney never had a comfortable place to call home. Her parents were broke and sometimes couldn't feed them all, her dad was a raging, abus*ve alcoholic, and she was thrust out of her safe space at 3 years old to begin travelling to be the breadwinner for her ultimately ungrateful, disrespectful family.
So as usual msm is full of sickening half-truths designed to push a narrative. Sickening, cruel, and disgusting behavior from a vile entity known as the "entertainment" industry.

I remember this episode. Since I was a little young to understand Britney’s breakdown but I did realize this was portraying Britney Spears in some way and I was confused why they made ginger Fox gross and messy.

Can you please do a video on One Directions (or specifically Liam Payne’s) horrible and abusive management. There’s not much talk about how much they were overworked and forced into things at such a young age and in the public eye, and how it wasn’t healthy for them or their mental health. I used to watch iCarly all the time when I was little. When I saw that episode, I had no clue that its intention was to make fun of someone. I was just sitting there thinking it was just a random made up episode. The way they made her look was just straight up sick. I can't believe they did that.😲😔

I’m a survivor of childhood sexual trauma ( 5-14) and often disassociated through these shows. I was jealous too. Thinking ‘ why am I so unloved and so unsafe and these kids have shows and money’ ‘ I bet they are safe’. ‘ I wish I was a celeb bc maybe my parents would protect me and keep men out of my room’ only to realize they were going through it too. Kind of adds to my trauma bc it’s like did I subconsciously know they were going through this and maybe that’s why I liked it so much bc I could relate??? Still jealous because millions of people believe them and an entire town, my family, and friends turned their backs on me when I needed them. Like a lot of powerful figures in my town knew and covered it up. To this day, I’m labeled a liar and people won’t let their kids play with mine :( I’m 32 now ( my oldest is 16) and I’m still alone and isolated all because I wanted sick grown men to leave my body alone. I’m raising their kids now :( the pain these celebs are experiencing must be 10xs worse because everyone watching the shows basically played part in their abuse without realizing it. I played a part In Their abuse by watching…. And used it to escape mine. It’s not your fault I see it this way. It’s just the truth. Like why was is our lives full of sex crimes? From our homes to our tv shows. :(

Yup, and when this was aired in 2007 she was 26. Everything from the outfits, to over exaggerated mannerisms, song choice, plot, and everything in between was spot on-they were really trying to dehumanize and tear her down in this really hurtful episode. CLEAR AS DAY.
I don’t understand Dan and the rest of the writers, producers, creative team’s thought process, thinking this was okay. I truly think people deep down who didn’t have a say in the episode (like the actors, or rest of the team) felt bad that they had to create this skit. At a very sensitive time.

The way Britney was treated back then is horrifying. I remember feeling bad for her back then, but as I look back I cannot believe that anyone was treated that way. I don't know how anyone could deal with what she dealt with, I think it could break anyone.

She does have Kesha’s look but it was definitely about Britney. Kesha didn’t have kids. Ginger Fox had a kid that she didn’t care about. That was the give away. This episode was terrible.
