I've only just seen this in April 2023. Thank you for such wonderful images of days gone by. One of the things that strikes me is that street lamps were so beautiful and an opportunity to create a work of art rather than the simple light on a pole we seem to get these days. Come to think of it, all street furniture was beautiful years ago.

Stunning collection of fotos ... I was a student in Norwich in the 1960's. So much of it is unchanged.

a lot was demolished for slum clearances, road widening as well as anglia square, i think.
