I just ordered the Baton 3 Pro Roadster from amazon. Awesome color scheme.
I just added this to my growing Olight collection. It is most excellent 👌
My favorite is still the Warrior 3S Pro, but this is a very usable practical light...
I have always been a fan of the aesthetics that Olight brings to the table. I think they're going to be in an even larger following if they start listening to the customers and producing better CRI lights. They are starting to take that direction now and I am excited.
I couldn't figure out the lock option and someone said this one didn't have it. Doing a bit of research on olight and I appreciate the information
I am glad the video helped! Always want to give the best information and it's nice to know when someone gets use out of it. :)
Great video, I just pulled the trigger on a baton 3 (first flashlight purchase) I'll be posting my thoughts on my channel as soon as I receive it. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! Did you get the Baton 3, or the pro, like this video? We do have a Baton 3 that we will be reviewing as well.
I appreciate the feedback on the video and we will definitely check your channel out as well!
They're incredible. I have a black/blue clip and accents Baton 3 and just ordered the titanium/copper Eternal Baton 3. You're going to be very happy with your purchase.
Well done! for EDC, Olight is hard to beat. I'm in favor of the proximity sensor. I think all of these lights should have them. I Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub! You're right, the proximity sensor is a nice little feature to have. Makes it safer too!
Really great review! The Baton 3 is the closest thing to a perfect EDC light I've ever used. Super compact, super bright, looks great, built great, not too expensive, reliable and so light you can clip it to a front shirt pocket and you forget it's even there. Just ordered the drop dead awesome looking Titanium/copper Eternal Baton 3 and ordering the OD green Baton 3 Pro next week. They're so good.
Thanks, David! I appreciate it! I agree that it is a fantastic light. Just enough upgrades in just enough areas to keep it relevant and new. We have a couple of Baton 3s (including the new zombie one) here as well and are going to do a review after the holiday break.
Keep hanging out with us, subscribe and we'll be giving away lights! One of them could be yours!
@@torchesandtactical Subscribed! Nice, I got in on the ground floor! Would've ordered the Baton 3 Pro today too, but I finally found a knife dealer with a Rike 1902 folder in stock and jumped on it. Peace!
Very good video not over or under done you earned a subscription from me 😊 I just picked one of these it’s great but look up fire edition olight warrior it’s gorgeous I just picked that up also
Thank you so much Jimmy Jay! Yeah, we've seen the fire editions. Those and the white ones are pure hotness!
Also, sorry for the late reply. We never got the notification for some reason.
I have used this very same line of olight nearly daily for more then 3 years as a plumber. It's been rock solid reliable and lasts for days if not weeks between charges. I love this light!
Which version do you mean? This particular version came out in Spencer of 2022.
@Torches and Tactical indeed, mine is the earlier Baton Pro version in olive or od green (can't remember what they called this color), and it has literally hundreds if not over a thousand hours of use by now, still the same battery (had to replace magnetic charging cable once, like 12 dollars), it has been soaked, dropped, stepped on, left on, laid on, and it works like the day I got it. Big believer in olight! Love your channel BTW, good discovery finding you. Cheers!
@@devonwharton9244 thank you so incredibly much for the kind words. Stay with us as we are running giveaways all the time. We have one right now for the Donut i3T, we have one on deck for our 1000 subscriber giveaway (a Wurkkos prize pack) and another with our Wurkkos TS11 review that is coming out shortly.
@@devonwharton9244 also, we have a titanium Baton Pro on the way. Can't wait to get it!
@Torches and Tactical just looked it up! Looks sharp and bet you can feel the weight savings! Looking forward to your review!
Nice review 👌
Thank you Salman! We will be doing another giveaway for an Olight review in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Aren't you the guy who used to do flashlight reviews by a lake?
I have taken some photos near our pond, if that's what you mean. Do you have any of these photos or videos so I could reference?
Have you ever run into this light overheating in any nice for close to our ever recommend run times??
No overheating that I've experienced. It does get warm, but that's to be expected at 1500 lumens, but nothing that negatively affects performance.
Olight temporarily pulled the Baton 3 Pro from their website because some users were reporting issues with the proximity sensor. New ones like mines doesn't have the proximity sensor.
We got their email the day the video was going live. It's a bummer, but at least Olight is doing the right thing!
@@torchesandtactical Yes, do like like Olight Baton Pro 3 regardless if it has the proximity sensor or not.
@@leoguy1609 Oh yeah! It's a nice little light!
Nice, I like the clip on it, cool color.
I agree. We actually just got some clips in this sapphire blue to put on some other lights!
Does they have any colors? Like bright greens?
Sorry, just realized you covered that in the video 🙄
The S2r Baton II in the video has a whole slew of colors, but for now, the Baton 3 Pro just has black, OD Green and Desert Tan. Knowing Olight though, we can expect more colors coming VERY soon. 🙂
@@JAM-vy5op No worries. If I miss anything, let me know. We try to cover everything. 🙂
Always been a fan off this model love the clip and the colour perfect EDC flashlight 🎉
For me, it's that they finally started including a more neutral color for the emitter! But yes, the Batons have always been outstanding looking. I own more than I should. Lol
Perfect form factor. Until you turn it on it look like the best light. After you turn it on and you try to walk it become terrible the light circle on the floor is so bright your eyes will burn before 15 min.
It’s good to check something at home but for walking I prefer other Olight’s light.
Which light do you prefer? Would love to hear your feedback!
I got two other so if I want something I can carry easily I take the I5r if I want to have more battery life time I take the Seeker 3 pro. The way they display light is far better. But to be honest I prefer the from factor of the baton 3.
@@myriagones4857 that makes sense. I do personally feel like the Baton 3 Pro is pretty good middle ground though.
does it include a sling, the 1st version has and its very usefull
It does not include a sling. It does have a carry pouch, though.
@Torches and Tactical oh that's not good, thanks for the reply
@@SecretMan299 I'm trying to find info about that sling for the first baton. I don't remember it coming with one.
@Torches and Tactical I got the 1st version it has a sling... thanks
@@torchesandtactical mmm sorry the sling am referring is called LANYARD .... thanks

Disappointed there appears to be no way to switch from step to continuous ramping of intensity.
The Baton Pro, in my opinion, gives a hugely usable amount of light and frankly, in its stepped mode, it has well spaced brightness levels. I understand, however, that some people prefer stepless.
NO TAILSWITCH...I would not have it!!
They do have a lot of lights out that have a tail switch, including the more recent Warrior Mini 3. Very nice lights. 😊
How'd you get a boo booo on your thumb?🤣
It got stuck in a timing belt and rolled through some timing gears on an engine. 🤦🏽♂️
Do you have to use their proprietary 18650 battery or can a regular 18650 battery work? I know on the baton 2 you cannot get a regular 18650 to work in the light. That is really the only reason why I haven't bought one for myself. I already got a bunch of regular 18650 batteries and don't want to have to buy some proprietary one just to use it. Yes I know one comes with the light but still.
Unfortunately it does only work with their proprietary cells. But for the Olight quality, I have developed the mindset that it is worth it to have to "potentially" replace the specific battery to have the quality they provide.
@@torchesandtactical I've bought the SR2 Baton as gifts before and they are well made. I already have a thrunite TC15 and that thing is just about perfect, and would be if it had a magnet on the bottom. But I think I might get an olight still and this one seems comparable to the TC15 but with that magnet.
@@jtoker9758 If it's the new version, you've got a treat on your hands! Thrunites push that light so hard! We have a T3 for review coming up and the machining on it is amazing! Confident grip while still feeling nice and smooth in the hand.
@@torchesandtactical I guess the TC15 I have is the first version, as it just says TC15. Now I want to try out the v3.
@@jtoker9758 You can never have enough light! 😉
