I agree. I love the old original patterns. So many beautiful old wallpapers in some of these chateaus. I have a hard time seeing anything remotely modern going in.

What a cool idea! The designs your friend has are lovely! The butterfly print would make beautiful wallpaper! Keep in mind that the chateau is not a museum it’s your home and should reflect your sense of style and artistic nature. You are making an artist retreat so adding some art from another artist would be amazing! A mural would look so good somewhere in the chateau! You really never know what our ancestors made their wallpaper from it could have been just like your friends art!

Hi I’m not a You Tuber but I have been watching You Tube for 10 years and one thing I have observed, watching channels grow, is to post often and regularly. Unique content is not a problem with Chateau viewers (most) we love anything Chateau! Lol. The regular posting does create a viewing pattern for the user. Once logged in, most viewers run through the same selection patterns - like muscle memory. It will happen! 😊Love your Chateau and channel BTW!❤
Some of those designs make wonderful patterns. In the right colour story, which supports a room design, they could work very well. Perhaps not everyones cup of tea, but certainly a unique idea and conversation starter. There are so many to choose from it would be hard to select the perfect one to suit a chateau lifestyle.

With the wood panelling around the bottom of each room some of that wallpaper could work but keep it elegant , your Chateau is a very light and bright in most of the rooms so u could wallpaper the 2 dining and salon and office Yellow green room . But make sure it does not look like the 70s remember what type of furniture u have too . Or is that coming back in . 🤔

I understand and you are not alone in that sentiment. None of the patterns are actually wallpapers yet, but I do think one or two of them could work (and look traditional) in a smaller place like a smaller bedroom wall or a bathroom. For now it's just an idea. 😊

Abby: Some "Tough Love" ideas to increase your likes and subs: 1. ASK viewers to do it at the beginning and end of the video. 2. Edit your videos. 10 minutes is enough; 25 minutes of stream of conscience is too much of a time commitment for most viewers. 3. Pets are like children - you are naturally enthralled with yours. Many people could care less and they move on mid-video. 4. Fix your intro music - it's now TWO NOTES - the full 6 would be better. 5. Adjust your volumes. Generally you are too loud and others are hard to hear or understand.

Imo, people who thing they are too midcentury, boho, etc. don't realize how differently they would look in situ in an already period home. Especially the more organic scroll-y looking ones. In terms of subscribers, I don't know. I know logic would tell us to make the videos shorter, but personally I like long videos and I think a lot of UA-camrs do well with long videos.
Some of those gorgeous prints would look great in the Chateau! With regard to your sub issue. I know other channels I watch, they got alot of their followers through tiktok and instagram. I don't have either. Just thought I'd let you know if you don't have either, they could help. The other option is collaboration with another channel, that's a bit tricky but I know this is how I came across the channels I follow.
Yes, I'm sure a collaboration would be great. I did one with Julia at Lady of the Chateau and with Stephanie at LaLande, but that was before I had a chateau or a channel. I need to try again though. 😊

Imo, people who thing they are too midcentury, boho, etc. don't realize how differently they would look in situ in an already period home. Especially the more organic scroll-y looking ones. In terms of subscribers, I don't know. I know logic would tell us to make the videos shorter, but personally I like long videos and I think a lot of UA-camrs do well with long videos.
These patterns would be beautiful for floor or wall tiles! Very cool

With regard to your sub issue. I know other channels I watch, they got alot of their followers through tiktok and instagram. I don't have either. Just thought I'd let you know if you don't have either, they could help. The other option is collaboration with another channel, that's a bit tricky but I know this is how I came across the channels I follow.
Yes, I'm sure a collaboration would be great. I did one with Julia at Lady of the Chateau and with Stephanie at LaLande, but that was before I had a chateau or a channel. I need to try again though. 😊
