Prior to the Main Stand expansion, atmosphere was much more well retained within. Plus I think its just down to the fans, then it was mostly locals, and a few who traveled from within the country. Now they come from all over.
"Oh my goodness, gracious me." The most common meme words from Martin Tyler after Aguero's winning goal vs QPR and Gerrard's thunderous kick vs Olympiacos.
Are you trying to anger me when you ask me questions like that? Please don’t ever ask me to do United wins again because you know what my answer is going to be according to the profile picture I have. I’m certainly not taking any appreciations from you after what I’ve read.
lad you've got leeds on your profile as well you're clearly plastic so what's the harm in a couple of famous united wins much love xxx actually do appreciate the videos though love to see the full coverage ones@@csenterprises9632
We had some excellent players though. Dudek was just getting into the team, Hyypia was class, Henchoz had a couple of decent seasons. Then we had Gerrard, Hamann and Murphy in midfield; all excellent on their day and a great unit. Then obviously the partnership between Heskey and Owen. We lacked a quality winger in the Houllier days though.
@@jackrichardson4089 yeah mate but i still think we over-achieved with that side in 2001. To do a treble with a lot of mediocre players was incredible, todays side haven't been able to do it and they're 10x the side
Was it martin Tyler who commentated on Leeds' 4-3 win against Liverpool in 2000? Would've loved to hear him commentate on Man U 0 Leeds 1 from 2010, if Sky showed that match (as we know they didn't, it was ITV who showed it and of course Clive Tyldesley commentated on it instead)
Two tough games but I do remember Fergie played the kids in that cup game. Wrote it off effectively. Think Dwight Yorke was playing centre mid that night. Got thumped 4-0 by Arsenal.
One of the best PL seasons ever 01/02, what an era this was
Nothing but love to the uploader for these. I might need to get a life but the last three days I've watched one of these 😂 They're great! Thank you.
44:03 Riise's magnificent freekick
I do miss old days football
Crazy how loud Anfield was back then...😮😨
especially when they beat United and Man city these days

Liverpool v United games always have a loud atmosphere

It's so common that you don't realise it's 'Gracious me' not 'graciously'
@@ryanwright2542 Oh, okay.

Treble Year
Liverpool side back in this day was bang average and we done a treble in 2001. Gerard Houlier worked wonders with that team

Pretty sure he commentated that game in the fa cup official highlights off the fa cup channel
Barthez was a headbanger
Fun fact. United played Arsenal the next day in the Worthington Cup . They basically had 2 tough games in 2 days.

@@jsber90 Yup the game is also on youtube ua-cam.com/video/N0usxIlti1o/v-deo.html
The good old days, before CONSERVATIVES, before BREXIT, and before VAR.
No var and full contact footy unlike now
Jamie Carragher right-back 😮
Who would have placed a bet that Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville would be bezzies now ? 😂😂😂😂😂 Nobody . .. YNWA
44:02 best free kick i've ever seen
Also there's one burning question I have to ask, when did Danny Murphy lose his hair or did he ever have any? 😂😂

What a day was there
Atmosphere was much louder back then
@@FSG.OUT.it’s always loud when those two play each other

These footballers even in their 20s looked like a man. Nowadays even someone ik their 30s looks like a college student.
