That’s funny, we hear the same thing about NY. 🤣 I would come visit and get a feel before making the the move. Florida isn’t for everyone, but it is a great place to live.

Juan, This is Jeff from Texas. I have been here for a year, in Clearwater, and I have had you and several people tell me this summer has been one of the hottest. But compared to Texas, where it’s dry in west Texas, Temps over 100 often, and Dallas and Houston, it’s been very nice for me. I think for you and your family, being from so far north, you’re more used to very mild summers compared to here in the Tampa area. 🎉

Salaries in Tampa and Fla (except Miami) are NOT commensurate with housing. Those 200k jobs you referenced aren’t Fla jobs, they are Remote.
