One of the biggest issues (I have too) NOT being mentioned by ANY of these videos talking about sugar intake, is NON-ALCOHOLIC CIRRHOSIS! SUGAR causes fat to build in you liver. And then leads to fatty liver disease. Which untreated and/or undiagnosed for more than 10-20 years, will equal your death. I don’t worry about diabetes at ALL! My mother was a type 1 for over 30 years and still died early due to NAC. She was diagnosed in her early 30’s with fatty liver and they knew nothing of the damage that would cause. And end up killing her in the one of the most absolute worst deaths I’ve ever seen. Even hospice nurses said cirrhosis is the worst death. More so than cancer patients. And this is a SILENT killer!!! I’ve done multiple trials for my very own liver disease now. Sugar is an enemy- but diabetes isn’t the worst one out there!

Make sure coconut sugar is made from coconut flower sap not from coconut juice. Based on the pricing sold, it’s likely made from coconut juice. Consider swapping to Palmyra palm sugar as it’s made from its flower sap. It takes 15 years for the Palmyra palm tree to start producing the flower sap. Price tag is high but has a lot of vitamins and minerals and low in glycemic index as well.

Search up the glycemic index/load. It tells you how fast sugars will raise your blood sugar around 2 hours after eating. Maple syrup is in the middle so it doesn't affect your blood sugar as much as cane sugar but it does still raise it a bit so it's good to limit it. Try also using natural sweeteners like monk fruit/erythritol as well. Date syrup is a really good one as well, it's full of antioxidants.

If it's 100% natural it's the same as what's in plants, fruits and vegetables. Our bodies are equipped to break down, use and illuminate natural sugars such as maple, coconut, honey and fructose, glucose and sorbitol as long as they aren't refined our bodies won't store these sugars.
