LOVE organic maple syrup and I use it for baking but...like...in my morning coffee?? No issue with the taste, but natural or not, that's a lot of grams of sugar per teaspoon, no?
Search up the glycemic index/load. It tells you how fast sugars will raise your blood sugar around 2 hours after eating. Maple syrup is in the middle so it doesn't affect your blood sugar as much as cane sugar but it does still raise it a bit so it's good to limit it. Try also using natural sweeteners like monk fruit/erythritol as well. Date syrup is a really good one as well, it's full of antioxidants.
Thank you. Thank you. ! Our Body needs Sugar. BUT. NOT EATING IT ALL DAY-- Agave and Organic Honey i love. And yes. Getting NATURAL IS amazing feeling!! Best to you Bobby. Happy Easter
If it's 100% natural it's the same as what's in plants, fruits and vegetables. Our bodies are equipped to break down, use and illuminate natural sugars such as maple, coconut, honey and fructose, glucose and sorbitol as long as they aren't refined our bodies won't store these sugars.
Zero sugar goes into fruit and maple syrup. They contain sugar naturally but it doesn’t lead to insulin resistance the way refined sugar does, which is separated and isolated from all the enzymes and prebiotics and other things
I use date sugar since it’s a whole fruit that has simply been dried and made into powder. I also make my own date paste from blended up dates soaked in water for coffee. Dates are the best sugar alternative on the market and you can make your own sugar from it at home.
@@lyinbobbycottonseed date sugar is literally ground up dates. There is a big difference between refined cane or coconut sugar and dehydrated ground fruit. It’s like saying a date is sugar my dude.

All of these are better in some ways than regular sugar but still raise your blood sugar so they should not be used as a primary sweetener...they are best used in moderation and if possible use stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit sweeteners which are plant based and have no impact on your blood sugar!! ❤❤

Lol. You know what’s better…fruit! All the other “safe” sugars are the same as the processed refined.
Thanks Bobby. I won’t shut up about this. Learned a lot from you.
Fantastic info. I consume zero cane sugar. A big yes to Honey & natural maple syrup.
the body recognizes and processes ALL "sugars" the same
Exactly! You eat organic sugars you get organic diabetes 🍒🍊
I love coconut sugar! I’ve been buying it for years now. Use it in baked goods and to sweeten my coffee dupe I make (Starbucks dupe using organic coconut sugar, organic raw cocoa powder & a smidgen of Celtic salt. For cream I use organic half & half or organic almond milk) it’s a great substitute! ❤️👍🏻
You forgot one thing it kills Testosterone
Does it look like he cares about testosterone
@@wusarert6219 But he should because he has man boobs
It’s in everything…which is why ingredient control is so crucial. Love your channel for this very reason.
No matter what sugar is sugar they all the same don’t eat it 🤣
Why isn’t this guy running the FDA? I’m mean his intentions are pure heart and his direction is very very positive.
“No matter what kind of sugar it is, don’t eat it.”
*seconds later*
“I RECOMMEND COCONUT SUGAR!”
IKR?! That’s what got me 🤣
I think you are missing the introduction of the video
The whole video is about white cane sugar
So the swaps he is recommending is about swapping the white cane sugar for the alternatives
It’s like saying if you are going to do it anyways which most people do then do so choosing a better choice
Of course eliminating sugar altogether will be better but if you are still choosing to have sugar in your meals in your diet then choose the better
my eating disorder ass dont know who to listen at this point😔 therapists are promoting concepts like “no food are bad food” “stop calling them bad food theyre just less nutritious” i mean i know they lyin😔
Just opened a hostess cupcake when I started this video…….. Macked that little bastard.
Bobby I really appreciate your channel. not sure why all this hate on your alternatives to sugar. you are misinformed on this subject though. but I still appreciate you bro !!
If we followed the advice of every internet person we'd all die of starvation and dehydration cos we'd not eat or drink a thing 👍
After a while, its splitting hairs.
Tank u so much mr favour u are telling the whole truth every of ur teaching is a big lesson to us most of those foods we eat has caused us too much sickness s diseases
Thank you as always for sharing 🎉
Dude, none of those are good for you.
Yep! all cane sugar is bad for our health. Eating excess sugar on a hold is bad for our health as well. I totally agree with everything that is said here.
This doesn’t match others views I’ve seen. I guess he’s just saying these alternatives are not as refined but they are still sugars.
Me and my wife were just talking about changing our diet today and were talking about how much sugar is in everything that we eat. Happy I found this channel
Fructose is the worst sweetener.
it’s still sugar. And unfortunately not everybody can afford to buy coconut sugar or agave, it’s quite expensive
Bro, do you realize how much sugar goes into maple syrup and honey?
No sugar goes into it. It contains sugar naturally
Bobby, tell these companies to cut down on the sugar!!!
Preach it Bobby! LOL I hope they're listening :-) looking at sugar is divine :-)
Wait. I thought you said agave is not that great. And leads to diabetes.
Never listen to Bobby. He is a liar, fraud and conman, and he has no education in nutrition.
The agave sugar makes you FAT!!
I used it in my every morning smoothie when I was in the uni and I won a lot of weight. When I finished the bottle, I never bought it anymore and it took me a while to retake my weight
Your body processes all sugars the same way
I love these shorts! I keep sending them to those I'm trying to inform about better foods👍🏻
Don’t send this he is wrong
Coconut is still sugar. Sugar is sugar. So his recco of using coconut sugar is dumb
I hope people aren't going to believe this.
Can you keep these videos coming and never stop. You show how obviously unhealthy normally accepted foods are and the easy alternative. Thank you 🙏
Imagine grocery shopping with this guy, I would shoot myself in the head after 10 mins
All of these are better in some ways than regular sugar but still raise your blood sugar so they should not be used as a primary sweetener...they are best used in moderation and if possible use stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit sweeteners which are plant based and have no impact on your blood sugar!! ❤❤
Sugar is sugar
Yes!
Westerners - especially Americans are so simple when it comes to this topic lol. Demonising things like honey (esp raw, wild, unpasteurised) because of its carb count. Ignoring all the other benefits you can get from it.
Do your research. Don't listen to this guy.
Getting paid to promote sugary products.
Oh I’m listening to him because SUGAR is bad.
@@BlasianGoddessTM77 Sugar is trash, just do your research like I said. Some of these products do the exact same thing.
Thank you for all your good advice. Quick and simple. Love it
So no munk fruit sweetener?
Monk fruit is better than all sugars he mentioned
Exactly monk fruit & stevia
Stick with monkfruit and stevia.
Be aware of the high fructose content of those sugars. Fructose is procesed in the liver and if eaten in excess can lead to serious health problems
And then there's also that great new organic date syrup from TJ's.
Still sugar
not good
Some people are predisposed for Td2m regardless of diet. My grandma, mother, Aunt, two brothers and myself all are diabetic.
Thank you Bobby, we are soo grateful for your healthy alternatives 😃
Please ignore alb the negative comments because those people are either ignorant or arrogant.
Sugar is sugar
My dr. Said...your body does not know one sugar from the next !! You eat ANY TYPE OF SUGAR ITS BAD FOR YOU.
Do you even lift bro?
He lifts the spirits of thousands. That's a weight no barbell could hold 🥲
@@lyinbobbycottonseed explain please
Agree that the natural sweeteners mentioned are much healthier but I had diabetes & insulin resistance and had to eliminate ALL sweeteners, even the Keto friendly ones. I guess once you are out if diabetic range you can incorporate them back a bit but yeah, agree that any of those sweeteners are best, especially if organic and not highly processed.
Not to mention sugar causes cancer too
Sugar actually doesn’t cause type 2 diabetes, a diet high in saturated fats does. Look it up!
Bro. Research before trying to make videos like this. You're very misleading
“Unless you exercise regularly” is such an often forgotten disclaimer to
Dietary videos
Don't drink gasoline. It's highly processed, and bad for your health. Instead I recommend kerosene, jet fuel, crude oil, and racing fuel. In all seriousness, I hope no one concerned about diabetes is taking this guy's advice.
Coming from someone who sleeps with men this is hilarious.
Great advice, thanks so much.💪🏽
No, it's not. All the swaps just as bad....
I read in one dr Mercola’s articles that agave stops the process of antioxidants in the body…I may not have quoted exactly but it was the message.
I used to consume a lot of sugar I still do but I used to as well.
