Great and powerful, or unknown, we all go back to the same dust when we die.
Your Right 🙏🏻👍🏻
Back when people still dressed nice.
people dressed like that when going out to just buy a newspaper.
everyone dresses nice for a funeral
@@fortunatoofamontillado1059 Not true.
Absolutely,,,
Back Then Their were people that actually were pretty much Respectable to each other.
That's something People Stopped doing after Their Era.🙏🏼🌹
That funeral carriage is freakin awesome!! 😎👍
Lucky's brother, Bartolomeo "Bart" Lucania (fedora and sunglasses) lived in Brooklyn and had a son, Anthony Lucania. On a few occasions, when Bart took his son to visit Lucky in prison , Anthony was not allowed to enter because he refused to be fingerprinted. Later, Anthony became an associate of the Genovese Family and was arrested for gun smuggling in Florida. Anthony died in 2004 and is interred in the Lucania family mausoleum in St. John's Cemetery in Queens, NY
The girl at the end of the reel with the black jacket, covering her face is, Adrianna Rizzo. She was Lucky's girlfriend after his longtime love, Igea Lissoni died (1959). After Lucky died, Lucky's brother, Bart kicked Adrianna out of Lucky's apartment
who have you been talking to?
YEP...LUCKY LUCIANOS DAUGHTER 😎☂️🍒💥💯©️®️™️
I have family in that cemetery. It’s full of mobsters
@shroomgod1990 I would love to visit that cemetery it's in Queens new york

Is that hearse still existing?
Its a peace of art
It looks not unlike the cortege of the famous Giuseppe Verdi.
It's in Italy.
the last of the real gangsters
Angelo Gomez Carlo Gambino was the most powerful and outlived him
It was actually Carlo Gambino's nose that had all the power. The rest of Carlo was pretty average
Yeah but Lucky Luciano was Carlo gambino mentor
@Faceless Propagandist Estimado señor, le recuerdo que en la política hay más criminales que en la calle, Lucky fue un hombre de negocios, y cuido a la gente mejor que el gobierno de USA, salute.
Mafia Fan Carlo was good at manipulating and outfoxing his compatriots... Luciano was more of a leader and organizer amongst gangsters and crews
What awsome funeral. Someone said when they use to dress so nice. He said that right!!!
I share these thoughts!
55 years ago Luciano died REST EASY ✝
Wow
Why does race have to always be part of everything it was a different time rocky was great so was dempsey Ali Frazier Holmes black or white or whatever it was different times and eras im Canadian Italian heritage if some one is good at what they do im glad for them
@Nico Gambino absolutely right.
No, 65 years old Luciano dead.
No he died in May of 2001that brought on 91101 LUCKY LUCIANO'S DAUGHTER
There is no body in that coffin !. I've Carried coffins with dead weight body inside on more than one occasion they are heavy . Them men carried that with too much ease. And only two ?
I was thinking the same thing 🤔 Even a small person you need at least 4 people to carry it
Lol I always thought what if Luciano faked his death to get back in the US
@@evillamar372 Lucky has been a gardener in upstate NY for many years now.
That’s what I’m thinking as well.
@@billl1127 he must be really old,Bill!!!
Very cool share. Thanks for uploading.
No sound needed!
In the symbolic spirit of the "code of omerta." Or, just simply no equipment.
@@delstanley1349 he NEVER DIED UNTIL MAY 2001 that brought on 91101 ... LUCKY LUCIANO'S DAUGHTER
Two guys holding up the casket. I'm thinking highly decorated balsa wood.
There is no body inside. Maybe escaped to Argentina.
Most influential gangster, one of the few men who ever saw gansters in his book like the cobra.
of course there was no sound.
People were afraid to talk, if you get my drift... : )
Thanks
That hearse is really something eh ?
This is right in my neighborhood
I saw a young Paulie Walnuts in the crowd of mourners!!!!!___________|
Oooooioooooooooooooo Paulie 🤣🙏🏻👍🏻
Don't let them fool you they are still powerful just quieter
Clearly said no sound and I keep turning up the volume lol
He was a visionary to realign the Mob as a corporate structure.
Lucky was genius gangster he was powerful, smart he ran. The mob like ceo of a company.
He’s not in the coffin. He was probably in hiding

yes that was carlo Gambino
I think you're right at 0:37 sec. Gambino gave the eulogy.
I've been on this Earth for 52 years, and I never in my life to this day seen a horse and carriage that looks like that..
That carriage is for a king.... Lucky Luciano long live the king

Frankie yale of Brooklyn had the biggest mob funeral in the country..
Yale received one of the most impressive gangland funerals in American history, at which thousands of Brooklynites lined the streets to watch the procession. He was buried wearing evening clothes, holding grey suede gloves and a gold rosary. Thirty-eight cars were required to bear all the floral arrangements while 250 Cadillac limousines carried the mourners. Yale's $15,000 silver casket rested on an open hearse with a podium. At Holy Cross Cemetery, there was additional drama when two different women claimed to be Yale's wife. As the casket was lowered, 112 mourners simultaneously tossed roses into the grave. Yale's funeral set a standard of opulence for American gangsters that has been seldom matched over the years.
If it was that big it should be some footage
Some gangsters dress nice and well like business men and others all weird sloppy with long hair know a days
While Luciano knew that Vito Genovese had tipped off the U.S. government to his whereabouts in Cuba, he did not live to find out was that it was "Joe Bananas" Bonanno who tipped off the New York City papers to Luciano's whereabouts in Cuba in February 1947. Joseph Bonanno was a very respected and feared Don who was also ruthless and very ambitious and always had aspired to being crowned capo di tutti capi, "boss of all bosses" just like his former boss and mentor Salvatore Maranzano. This information of Joseph Bonanno's treachery was picked up by former F.B.I. agent William Roemer, who was given the information by several of his former F.B.I. colleagues. Bill Roemer details this on pages 132-42 in his 1990 book, War of the Godfathers
DONMAZ7 that book had some fake stories.
This is not his burial...he is buried in St. John’s Cemetery in Queens NY not Italy.
He was originally buried in Italy and reinterred in NYC.
@@Xsilif thanks Meg I was wondering about that. I know the family mausoleum is in New York. Was he in a type of temporary holding vault in Italy?
@Michele I don’t know. I read they had to fight to allow him into the US (despite being deceased).
@@Xsilif wow. He was Italian it would have made sense to just have a small crypt in Italy
@Michele he loved and missed NYC. Although I never met him, it seems to me he would’ve wanted it.

Papa Carlo?
Brooklyn, fuggedaboudit.
So beautiful 🙏💛
Pera aí !!!!!! Dois homens apenas carregando o caixão ?? Impossível ! Wait a minute ! Only two men carrying the coffin ?? Impossible ! Even the way they carry... hehehe!
I believe Lucky controlled the mob and called the shots from Sicily. He never stopped being powerful and he was untouchable in Sicily. The u.s. government used him as an ally once before perhaps this relationship continued.
Damn this is like the Lincoln or jfk funeral wow
I always will say this. John Gotti ruined everything. Breaking the rules.
Carlo gambino built an empire but wen gotti took over he destroyed it and left it like a street gang
He had no class.
John Goti was a traitor
You guys been watching to much of Sammy Gravanos BS
@@JimD410 No need to watch Sammy to understand Gotti brought it all down. Gotti was the absolute worst Boss ever and destroyed it. Now mobsters run strip clubs and other little bs.

We're crime and crime don't pay.
'' Did I ever kill anybody myself? That depends on how you look at it. If it means , did I ever pull the trigger and actually knock somebody off myself, then the answer is no. Nobody died from my gun. I managed to hurt a few people pretty bad, but no murder. On the other hand, if you look at it from the strict letter of the law, where an accessory or a guy who gives the orders to make a hit is just as guilty as the guy who pulls the trigger, then i guess i done my share" The Last testament of Lucky Luciano" P 51

What I find hard to believe,is a criminal ,who has done or been in an inexcusable crime, has the right to be buried in consecrated ground. Even in death they think they have a right. Don’t understand
Politicians and soldiers are guilty of alot more gruesome crimes yet I don't think you complain about that. It should be a crime to be as stpld as you are

The Good Lord God is The Only One Who may pass Divine Judgment on any human, whether he is a criminal or not. It is not for us to pass spiritual judgment on fellow humans. Lord Jesus Christ Himself has said: "I do not judge." Please look it up in the Bible.
