My mom bought her first new car in January of ‘65, a red with white top 2 door Galaxie. When she was ready for another car, it became mine in 1972. I have a lot of memories and over 300,000 miles in that car. Three weeks ago, after saying I would never sell it and it sitting for 3 years. I did, in a weak moment sell it. I’ve regretted it ever since.
Love the Galaxie. I have a total rotisserie restoration 65 Galaxie 500 LTD. My question is. I noticed the trailer hitch. I'm looking to add one to mine. Looking to get an enclosed motorcycle trailer to haul my Harley. Previous owners kept the car sitting in their collection but I bought it to drive. I'm retired and have plans for traveling with my car and Harley. My retirement dream. Could I get some pictures of the hitch and how it's mounted. There's not much out there for old cars.
