Off to a doctors appointment... so I will answer back comments later today, guys! (if) interested in neotec products. There is a link in the discretion of the video.... always shop around first on eBay, Amazon, and neo before purchase! I receive 5% at neo... but I'd much rather you guys get the best deal! Thanks for watching 👀 🙂 🙏
It's a cool build so far. 😎 I'm only about halfway through with it! Chainbreak and flywheel is on, cluch and oil pump. Probably upload videos by Saturday!
I like my NEO TEC 892 so much that l am ordering a 660 FARMMAC. As well, l know it is basically the same but with the Alligator skin on it, l think it’s good saw for the price and great power with the 892 and very nice to handle, Thanks for your videos
I have the 660vw that I installed a hyway pop up big bore Kit a Walbro carb and upgraded the coil and it’s a beast. Living that saw. I also have the Neotec 872i that comes with a Walbro carb, upgraded coil. The crank and top en are supposed to be upgraded as well (I haven’t been into that saw yet) I’m very impressed with the 872i so far.
The vw is beautiful... I had to have 2, lol 872 is a very nice 👌 aftermarket parts and these clone saws have come so far in the past 5 years I'm glad to have you around, sir 🙏
Better than oem, depending on how you like your numbers! And the same numbers my farmmac f380w has (same top end) it runs really strong! The series will have the numbers in it!
@@johngardner3020 I have both and prefer the vw black and white version. I'm not sure... Lol part of that mud! Maybe the orange one is currently selling better would be my best guess. Iv seen the prices flip flop on both models. One thing I can say is the 660s in general do have a issue from time to time killing coils. (OEM did as well) the coil is super cheap and easy to replace. Out of 15 660s I own... Iv had this issue with 2! You won't for sure have the issue, just wanted to let you know
Both kit saws and pre-built bulk orders! And most that I have ported was the exhaust side for getting the heat out while milling. I'm still developing my craft with porting and want to destroy plenty of my own saws first!! Lol 😆 🤣
Hope you are ok chief. Have you advanced the ignition timing on one of these 660s? DO you know if there is separate key or is it it built into flywheel?? My big bore, ported Neotec 892 has cleared UK customs and will be with me any day now - am well excited! Do you ever play with old saws? Have just got an old husky 380 up and running - lovely piece of kit, not fast but tonnes of torque. Thanks for content, watching chainsaw vids is so much better than all other tv!!
Never advance the timing, no, have considered it a bit! The 660 kit I have is built in... to my upstanding! That's awesome... there great power saws! Thanks for watching 👀 sir
32:1 rich on the tuning! For about 3 tanks! I also do heat cycles at least 2! Then run whatever mix you like True is.. if you run a 40:1 and leave it rich (as most come) for about 3 tanks, you're good!

I can’t wait for the whole 380 build, that’s going to be my next saw. I’m very excited to see it done

Which one would you recommend for milling? They seem to be identical other than the paint job. Both look great!
The farmmac f660vw would be my pick over the 2 saws! And correct, most of the difference is cosmetic.

That's awesome... you will absolutely love that farmmac f660vw!
Thanks for watching 👀 sir

What's the numbers on that ms381?..been thinking about one

Maybe neo-tec could send you a NS892BV with the factory big bore to review
I'm probably going to have to buy one! 🫣🤫😁
But, I can tell you that the big bore kit in it is a highway! And I think 🤔 the wabro!
👍
Are the guts of those 2 saws the same? I browsed the neotec site and their product line is clear as mud.
Lol 😂
Yes the exact same... The only difference is the color!
@majorpixchannel7146 why does the black and grey model cost significantly more than the black and white one? The descriptions are nearly identical.

@@majorpixchannel7146 so the orange ones that start with an 8 are the same internally as the FARMMAC models? It's just a marketing gimmick?
Different models.... Many chainsaw enthusiasts want different options!
Hey you mentioned you are selling neo/holz saws locally... Are you assembling kit saws to sell or prebuilt units? Do you port them or keep stock?

Good for you man!
@old1234 thanks brother 🙏 it's going to fit in really nicely with early retirement with the county works department 🏬

How do you break in your 660vw's?

Thanks for the info. Gotmine in and want to break it in rght.
