She's a songwriter, a producer, plays instruments, sings, dances, she studied a degree of music in Barcelona. El "Mal querer" her 2on album it's the project she presented to finish her degree. She did the album and the first 2 mv without being signed by any label. When she released Malamente ( the first single of el mal querer), she had so many debts but faith in her project, she usually works with el guincho (he's produced with her, I think, all of the songs she has released since el mal querer) and on this song she also has worked with Frank dukes (since con altura he's been working with her). El mal querer it's a conceptual album based on a novel, each song it's a chapter, and tells the story of a woman "la flamenca" who meets a man, it comes from the first meet to the liberation of her from that abusive man. It's a piece of art. I recommend you each song/mv of that album (just a curious note, JT let her use a sample of Cry me a river in one of the songs) ❤ from Spain. Stay Safe
Keep reacting to Rosalia please! She always works with "El gincho" her friend and producer. You should react to her album "El mal querer" chapter by chapter .
She studied a university career on flamenco music and she plays bass, viola, guitar and piano (plus the clapping, which in flamenco is an instrument too) i dont know if there are more instruments that she can play

She co-produces all her songs with El Guincho and lately also with Frank Dukes. This song is only produced by Frank Dukes because she is in quarantine and i guess she doesn’t have enough material to produce completely a song. The best of her music is that she gets involved in the production stage, which not many artist do
That’s awesome! I believe it. I saw many pictures on her instagram hanging in the studio! Seems like she lives there! Haha Very cool. A few people have mentioned El Guincho! I guess that’s her main guy! That’s awesome she gets involved with production. Thanks for watching and commenting. Definitely going to get into more soon! Hope you are well and safe and healthy during this quarantine!
BTW when reacting to Spanish songs and lyrics remember the passion behind our culture. Not all its to be taken literally but understand it might be an idiom or expression of ours. It gives you a better sense of the message behind it. And you are doing great and its also a breath of fresh air how u genuinely are interested in expanding your knowledge of different music genres, singers, cultures etc. Don't change u are fantastic. Big Fan! Just signed up for notifications from u
Oh wow, that is awesome! I would never mean to offend, I simply don’t some things! (Very interested though!) Is there any way to further explain what you mean? Or how I might know? (Probably hard over the internet haha)
@@NaturalReactions yes i might be able to share some expressions in language that we have. It's like when u say things 'it cost an arm and a leg'' little thing like that. We also have our own depending on where u are from. In Rosalia's case she uses lots of idioms and spanish slang in her writing its the reason she is so popular she sounds and is an everyday person though she is such a huge star. I will go back to this video and pick on a few so u get a better glimpse into her mind
Here the translated song : ua-cam.com/video/7zy3EH1bAWI/v-deo.html " Dolerme " it means " Hurt me " ; When something hurts you emotionally (as in this case) or physically ,,
great Reaction! You should react to her Mal Querer album videos like Malamente, Pienso end tu mira, Di Mi Nombre,, Bagdad y de Aqui no sales or her crown jewel performance at the Goyas 2019 Spain version of the Oscars with the song Me Quedo Contigo... She did this song during quarantine as a gift for encouragement to Spain and the world during this pandemic.. The Illustration Rosalia seems sad, the facemask on the floor Her dog protecting her and a knife that could represent El Mal Querer that you can hear it in songs like Que no Salga la Luna and Maldicion...Yes please React to her Mal Querer Stuff.....
