So there’s a theory, crybaby is what you go through from birth to 4yrs, k-12 is about ages 5-18, and portals is about what you go through with death. Weather it’s loosing yourself, others, and fining yourself ect. I love this album, and she came out with her deluxe songs. 😭🥳
in the Lore she's indeed back from the dead! But as a new form and new self. Her soul leaving crybaby's body to reincarnate as the fairy that we see now. In real life, it is mostly about her leaving her old self and her past relationships behind as it harmed her enough . In the clip we see crybaby on the floor with 9 swords in her which represents end of suffering and pain as a new beginning arrive .

The next mv to be released is void Melanie has said that the mv will take some time to make and she doesn’t want to rush it because of the vfx. Also she wears this new evolved version of crybaby to events and performances Melanie says the makeup takes about 4 hours and that she can indeed see through the bottom eye’s through small holes. There will be a film with this album the release date of that hasn’t been announced yet to my knowledge.
This entire album is a concept album about the afterlife/cycle of life. Her old character died at the end of her last album K-12 and this is her being reborn into a new era. In fact, her album Portals is the trilogy to this storyline/character. Crybaby, K-12, Portals. The album is very interesting to see how she’s talks about certain topics.
