Hey man, just got back into Eve as an alpha clone after a 5 year winning streak and this is the first video of yours I've seen. Thanks for helping newbros (and returning bittervets/me) get through the learning cliff and best wishes for the future. o7
Thanks for the video about Eveeye. It's become my most important EVE tool (even though your video didn't even show the things that I use the most). Fly safe (well, or not anymore) o7
@@EVEJer im doing basically the Same Like you but (without making Videos about it) but without the referals. My Skillplan counts 772 more days until im finished with all Skills. Where you able to get every single possible Alpha Skill to the max or did you need to make Trade offs?
I maxed all the skills. If you’re just working within the 5m free SP you can train as an alpha you need to make a LOT of trade offs. Basically you need to pick only one or two empires to learn and limit your weapons to a few types (e.g. drones or misiles not both). See my min maxing video for advice on that. Because I used the referral omega time I was able to train past 20m and get all the skills.
@@EVEJer im planning to train to the 20m cap with using Daily Alpha Injectors. Will I be able to aquire all Alpha skills or Is 20m Not enough (because you Said you are at 23m)
@@pinguincoder Yeah it's over 20m, I'm not sure the exact number, it shifts as they update the exact skills in the game. 23m might be the new number, since Alpha Jer really only has the Alpha skills and the jump clone skill, which I checked and was only like 512k. Either way, you can get there with Alpha Injectors, it's just a matter of exactly how many. As far as I know, the only limitation of alpha injectors is that you're alpha when you use them, and that you only use one per day, so whatever you do to get to 20m will work to get you the last skills. Honestly though, I don't think almost anyone needs all 20/23m skills. Do you really need to have Battleship IV for all four empires? If I had really been earning my SP, I probably would have skipped Amarr (because I hate them) and Minmatar (because like Amarr, Projectile weapons only work with one race). I'd focus on the empire(s) you're really interested in and the tools they use. E.g. You could train hybrid guns, missiles, and drones along with Caldari, Gallente and Minmatar/Amarr ships that focus on missiles/drones. Anyway that's all up to you, just saying out loud what I would have done if I'd actually been earning my SP. In the end it never mattered for me. Once my referral-based Omega was training SP, I focused on all the Gallente ships first (hybrid+drones) then ended up throwing all the other empires' skills into the queue randomly when I realized I was going to be able to train everything "for free".
Skill injectors was when I stopped playing. Been in the game since 2004, 200-ish million SP and then all of a sudden week old character can have more than me…
Yeah it gave a perverse incentive compared to before. IMO it’s different for Alphas, since it’s their only way to progress and it’s capped in time just like a normal Omega sub in terms of how quickly you can learn.
Can you fly t3? Ur missing out if u havnt. Also I no longer play as much since its just easier to spend 20 dollars and turn those plexes into a few bil isk. I just wish they would have turned the P.I gameplay into a civ like but i log on time to time to run lvl 4 missions.
Interesting idea to have a goal in an open ended game. I have played off and on since 2008 or so. I just love the views from space but know I, also, suck at EvE.
I subscribed way back and no I won't be an Omega, (I don't even PVP against NPC's) still having fun. you should give all your stuff away to random players. 👍✌🖖🥃 Not to me though I have all I need.
Ok so this one is complicated and mind-bending, so it is hard to understand and explain, BUT I think you can die and keep your clones. I lost a clone because my corp closed the station it was in, I couldn't get it back without Omega. You can also lose a clone by deleting it. But when you die, you don't go to a new clone, you go back to your "home station", which is also known as "medical clone", the one you always have for free even as an Alpha. My experience was that dying meant going back to that free clone, and all my others were still there for me to jump to. What you can't do is delete them and drop a new replacement. If you do that, you just lost the clone. So where an Omega might delete a clone in a place they don't care about and drop a new local one to jump to, an Alpha has to jump to that clone and drive all the way back in order to have it available locally, that's the biggest downside. Does that make sense? It's possible I'm missing something.
Ironicly this is the first video I see from you, wish you gl!
i have played eve since 2004, and this made my day.
Haha thanks!
I appreciate your efforts and the vids. They did help me learn the game. Wish you the best in your next endeavors.
So glad it helped! Have fun in space o7

Ha ha welcome back, sorry you broke your streak 🤣
Truly awesome videos... And seriously underrated, imo.

Ha ha yeah I was still confused when I made it but I got people to check it out and that’s what matters 🫡
I love you to, bye bye Jer. I will be sure to watch your other videos o/

Gg bro you won, should have made more vids I really enjoyed them
Thanks bud! Fly safe!
There is a certain allure to quitting. I love the ships. If maybe your new endeavors cross paths I will watch.
Fly safe. You'll be baaaaaaaaaack
Nice,..congrats
I literally just subbed and now you're saying you're done! :D lol!
bye, see ya
My second time seeing your channel its a shame i wanted to see you play EVE
See ya in a few months

If u don't have plans on returning to the game, I respectfully would like to ask for ur account, i wanna play it.
Just shoot me a message.
Do you have any other game channels? You are great at this : )
Thanks! Sadly no game channels. Just the Buddhist addiction recovery channel and the random tech opinions channel.

Congrats but at the same time if you're Alpha you've only experienced 5% of the entire time. GJ though. Us 20 year vets just keep plugging along.

Thanks for watching Mark! 🍻
If you find yourself bored in the future do a travel video fly from one end of EVE to the other. (it's never been done.)🤣@@EVEJer

Cool, can I have your stuff?
You can keep your clones as Long as you dont die. I died with one of my clones and its now gone forever since as an Alpha I cant create a new one
