Mine is basically how I decided to pursue a physics PhD without having any family to ask for advice. I did the research, I cried the tears, but now I’m in my 3rd year and I filed for an en route masters degree. Keep that work grind going and I’m only 24 🙏🏽🤓
You have NO IDEA how inspiring this is to me to grind and hustle even more, as a 50 year old mom who is still have hopes and dreams. I just made a personal vow to myself and with my husband that we are going to STOP MARKING TIME AND MOVE FORWARD and make our dreams happen. Thank you soooo much Jeannie!!! I love you. This was a VERY inspiring story. I'm currently in the beginning stages of getting my life started. And at times, I think about just giving up b/c it's a very hard, slow & frustrating process that doesn't go anywhere. Probably b/c I'm always rushing things b/c I'm very impatient & I just things to happen right here & now but it doesn't happen that way so I get frustrated about it. Plus, it always seems like there's some kind of obstacle that gets in my way to try & stop me & that's frustrates me also. But now b/c of this video, your channel, your career, your life story & just YOU in general, I'm not gonna stop giving up on it! Imma keep on going until I reach my goals! Never give up! You were born for purpose. You didn't get here by mistake! I have attended over 150 funerals...2 of which I had to plan by myself, my mother and grandfather's. I survived gang banging when it first began in Compton in the 70's and abuse as a child...I can truly say that because of accepting Christ into my heart and following his heart and life of love..I have the strength, hope and encouragement to carry on and my desire is to bring hope to others. Your life matters or you wouldn't be here! Sending you love 💞 and I applaud you for reaching out 👏👏👏
Jeannie I think you should frame the jacket and hang it up on the wall in your closet ( since you go in there everyday) in a pretty frame as a humble memory! I wouldn't throw it away! That's just my opinion though.

Jeannie - a long time ago I once saw a show where you were giving makeup tips for going out. You incorporated a bright blue under the eye for a pop of color. I will always remember that as it was way before UA-cam Makeup tutorials blowing up (And mostly because I thought I was looking real cute at the club with that pop of color lol). Much later, I too worked for MAC for several years in your same region and I was so proud that all of the regional managers were mostly Asian like myself. They were the most hardworking and smartest women. Listening to your story, I never knew that all the classes MAC held over the years came from this idea of yours. I always told myself and my staff that if you make it here, you can make it anywhere. Very proud of your work and where you have gone with your career. Keep it up! I’ll be looking out for more of those tip & tricks!

I’ve been working on a mental health UA-cam channel and business focused on teaching people how to develop their self worth and I’ve been realizing how much I need to work smarter and not just harder. I’ve been trying to find ways to get in front of more people and not just stay in my bubble to prove to myself that I can do this and I feel like hearing your story is such a sign for me to connect with more people and to just believe in myself even if I don’t have all the answers right away.

This was so awesome to hear about. I'm still figuring out what I want to do in life, still in my early 20s, taking a long break from college already has been 2 years. Even though I have time I'm still thinking what I see myself doing, there are many things I'd love to do but I always worry what my inner circle will say.
