Hi, thank you for this beautiful vlogs. Is it alway necessary that you have to use aluminium first? And how do you connect parts together. Thank you for your time!
For big, sculptural pieces such as this, I always use aluminum foil as armature to help bulk the piece. It saves clay, plus it's a great way of making the sculpture intact in case it falls. It doesn't break into pieces.

Hello. I only see pottery lessons. I’m not sure if there are sculpting classes here. I learned by myself. I’ve been drawing and painting portraits for years, it helped me when I tried sculpting portraits.

I am actually stuck in a bubble of not repeating. It’s a pet peeve of mine as an artist. If you’ve followed my journey from the beginning, I started with watercolor. Then acrylic, then oil. And now I sculpt. Because I hate doing the same thing over and over. If what you’re saying is I repeat the same female subject, it’s because it represents me. :)
As I have only just bought some Air dry clay, I have only seen your Air dry creations... I will count myself well and truly told! 😁
