For those who are having trouble telling which snatcher is the REAL one during that one dark section in the second phase, watch snatcher’s face before the attack begins. He will either wink with his LEFT or RIGHT eye. Whichever eye he winks at you will tell you where the REAL snatcher is.
Lol so thats how it is. I would always choose randomly and would get it right 30% of the time, so I always relied on doing damage mostly after the rings attack lol

Friendly Freaks I think that was because he absolutely didn't expect it, he stops because he is just...dumbfounded, that's why he also asked if it didn't count, because he literally did not expect it, in fact, he was so mad, he used his full power to try and kill the player after you paint him, but in my opinion....he is still the evil noodle I like and I praise him for that.

The reasons why I love this boss fight are just in all the little details: -The fact you KNEW you were going to fight him eventually. I don't think anyone was caught off guard by it. So it was all a matter of WHEN -The fact that he and the Toilet of Doom share a bunch of the same attacks and mechanics-promaraly the shockwaves. Shows that the game was preparing you for this -All the personality he shows. From him breaking the fourth wall, his wink before the duo attack(serving as a very subtle hint), and the way he doesn't change his position even when teleporting. It feels he's just toying with you instead of ACTUALLY fighting you I may be over analysing this, but I still really love this fight
He kinda sounds like he’d make a great voice actor for Ink Bendy from Bendy and the Ink Machine ( anyone heard of that game, if you do then, good on you)

Well Hat Kid and her friend, Bow Kid. They ventured out the wild. By chance they came ‘pon Snatcher’s trap and gosh they paid the price. PAID THE PRICE. And now they’re fighting for their lives on a mission fraught with dread. And if they proceed but then succeed, well, the Snatcher will snap their heads.
Easily the best boss in the game. He's fun as he is threatening, you can't derp through it with the Time Stop hat, he shatters the 4th wall like its his property or something, it's refreshingly challenging yet mostly devoid of bullshit, and holy fuck that music is the best video game song I've heard in a LONG time.
All of the bosses are fantastic, but the Snatcher is my favorite. And I agree that his boss song is one of the best songs I've heard from any game in a while. Especially once the bit tunes come in.
I wish I could experience this boss fight for the first time again. Still fun to repeat on occasion, but the first time playing this part blew me away.

Purple time rift levels have scraps of paper you can collect to form a story based on the character the rift is tied to. Snatcher’s story is pretty sad.
Snatcher was a prince who fell in love with Vannessa. One Day he went to buy some flowers for her, but Vannessa thought he was cheating on her. When he came to see her, she locked him in the basement to die, and froze the entire kingdom. In the final picture you can see him crying.

I was pleasantly surprised by just how hard Snatcher comes at you compared to all the other bosses in the game. It's not that difficult, but it's so damn cool.

Man the bosses in a hat in time are so dynamic, it never has a single stale moment. (Every boss was good) but the snatcher was the best just because of the way it looks and how the way you reveal his weak spot is super creative. Strangely the mafia boss might be the worst boss. And he even tries to change things up by being in 2D so he’s not inherently bad.
personally saying the boss from the Nyakuza DLC was the worst, it felt like a wasted potential, you don't get background of her, nor have her appearing more after completing the DLC, without mentioning the "boss fight" is just a huge and easy puzzle, nothing against but those amazing dynamic fights and epic levels from before make the fight look horrible
Snatcher tooking your hat just for you not be able to use your "abilities" was a intelligence point of him. This is the best boss and theme I've ever see and heard.

You know what would make this fight more challenging? Not that this isn't legit already, but with having to hit him only five times when he goes vulnerable, I have an idea that might make it a bit more interesting. How about setting it up like Mr Freeze from Batman Arkham City, being given a few opportunities to attack, but only being able to attack once per attack pattern, making you need to strategize. But also making the mechanic easier to understand.
Most boss fights have like 4-5 phase changes but Snatcher only really had like 2. You also can hit him indefinitely once phase 2 starts due to him being painted blue so it's mostly a matter of lasting till he tosses blue dye. Still one of the most fun though, and you can't oversimplify him like other bosses with new abilities since he steals your powers. Though him being shorter might be because he was the only area to have a mini boss via the toilet.

Snatcher's a contract demon. Contracts rely on word choice. By saying blue equals vulnerable he made any blue a vulnerability. His banter was his weakness.

Snatcher has a voice line in the DLC. Saying "Regretting the whole Best Friends Forever thing yet?" I guess he still holds a grudge on that incident.

By Far My Favorite Boss Fight In The Game
You know what would make this fight more challenging? Not that this isn't legit already, but with having to hit him only five times when he goes vulnerable, I have an idea that might make it a bit more interesting. How about setting it up like Mr Freeze from Batman Arkham City, being given a few opportunities to attack, but only being able to attack once per attack pattern, making you need to strategize. But also making the mechanic easier to understand.

I mean, Snatcher dies in six hits if that first attack to make him blue counts
Most boss fights have like 4-5 phase changes but Snatcher only really had like 2. You also can hit him indefinitely once phase 2 starts due to him being painted blue so it's mostly a matter of lasting till he tosses blue dye. Still one of the most fun though, and you can't oversimplify him like other bosses with new abilities since he steals your powers. Though him being shorter might be because he was the only area to have a mini boss via the toilet.
I like how TECHNICALLY that contract IS valid since he put his own stamp on it.

Snatcher's a contract demon. Contracts rely on word choice. By saying blue equals vulnerable he made any blue a vulnerability. His banter was his weakness.
