Dude, do you let the E string resonate when you play Power Chord C? Or do you muffle the sound of it with your palm?

Johnny would often play a 2nd inversion where he frets the low E string as well. So for that c chord he'd hit the 3rd fret on the low E string too. Beefs up the sound

Actually it's a Mosrite copy by Eastwood Guitars, but modded to full Johnny Ramone specs. The bridge pickup is a DiMarzio FS-1 single coil.
