Measure the rheological properties of PVC materials with the MetaStation 4E and the Measuring Mixer W 50 EHT.
How to prepare a test:
- Insert the mounting surface for the measuring mixer
- Fix the mounting surface with a star grip nut
- Push the coupling sleeve onto the clutch of the MetaStation
- Attach the measuring mixer
- Tighten the knurled nuts on the stud bolts
- Connect the cable of the 2-hand safety device of the measuring mixer with the socket "Safety Device" on the control side of the MetaStation
- Connect the cable of the torque limitation to the socket "Torque limit key"
- Connect the cable of the safety device to the correspondent socket
- Mount the control and stock thermocouples into the corresponding bayonet nipples of the measuring mixer
- Connect the cables of the control thermocouples to the corresponding sockets "Control Temperature" at the terminal board of the Meta-Station
- Connect the heating cables
- Connect the cables of the stock thermocouples to the corresponding sockets "Stock Temperature"
- Connect the cooling air hoses to the correspondent sockets
- Make sure that the stock temperature thermocouple reaches approx. 1.0 to 1.5 mm into the mixer bowl
- Attach the mixer support and tighten the screws
- Loosen the screws at the front plate and draw it off
- Draw off the mixer bowl
- If not yet mounted, insert the longer blade into the left bushing and the shorter one into the right bushing
- Mount the mixer bowl and the front plate again
