A good video for Dickies to show people what's involved in getting lifted out there. I hope you get a discount next time! I used to get craned out, storage and crane in for £100 in late 80's early 90's. Anyone capable would help to speed things along before the tide went out. (Pre-Dickies and pre-today's zealous health and safety rules.) Prices trebled in a very short time.

      Hi Mike
A discount for advertising. I like that idea!
You're right, it is an expensive business these days for boat movements and storage. I've never used Dickies before to over-winter Magic Hawk but I have to say they provided a very professional service and looked after her well during the lift. She's now sitting on concrete with power and water within a few metres so no excuses to get the refit finished by Spring (apart from the British weather, of course!). All the best. Mark

Bangor is a great place. Are you going to put up any videos of the refit? I could do with someone to copy. Cheers.

      Just about sailing
      Hi Paul
I think I have said previously somewhere that I would post a video about our refit work and I have started to put something together so I'd better get serious and aim to get it finished! Since taking early retirement at the end of September, life has been busier than ever so hopefully now Magic Hawk is hard standing again, things will quieten down a little and let me get on with it. We're trying to sell our house too which doesn't help so there's always something to do. Keep up the good work! All the best, Mark
