It’s been a long time since I’ve been to octane but It’s been even longer since I had as much fun at octane as I did at Andretti this last weekend. When it was F1 race factory I think it used to be a lot more fun but maybe that’s because I was younger. I think they should def make some of the younger kids race the slow karts first if they haven’t gone yet though. There was a kid that was going maybe a walking pace the entire race. Not only did it ruin the experience but it was kinda dangerous.
@@icebox829this is the main issue I have with going to Andretti. EVERYONE ignores the blue flags and they really don’t do anything about it. Then you get in trouble for bumping when you’re just trying to get past an erratic driver.
@@triforce711 Super disappointing, whoever picked that flooring needs to be fired. Looks like you're power sliding or drifting every single corner because the tires have 0 grip on that flooring.
@@DiegoAlvaradoRacing Passing is very fun! We went to overdrive all the time! Before it was about position. Now it's about lap times because there were fights about position! I see it's kinda expensive for how many minutes you can 7 minute race
Update: current track record is 36.299. They did some work on the transition at the bottom of the big downhill and there's no traction right now. If they can restore it to the conditions we had on 4/3 then I'm confident there's still time to be saved. If not, I think they'll need to reset the leaderboard as I don't believe 36.299 is attainable anymore.
@@DiegoAlvaradoRacing this place is honeslty a shitshow i did the adukt race too many shitty races not to mention cant block and no room to pass without being told to move over or wreck some body
You coudlnt really go faster, not enough traction to accommodate more power. But it feels faster than it looks on this video. You def get a little more speed if you don’t slide as much too.
This is what the people want!!
I know that objectively the traction sucks, but the way these karts promote neutral steer makes Andretti a lot more fun than Octane, IMO.
I’d agree

I know those feel like the best 7 minutes of your life
I’ve had better 7 minutes but this is close p2
This is down the street from me, I need to go!
Same. But the karts look slower than octane
That looks soo fun

Nice pass at 4:28!
8 tires is better than 4😂
How fast would you say these karts are?
Advertised as up to 35mph.

how long is this course? This looks pretty rough with the transitions and elevation changes.
That’s a good question. I couldn’t find a distance length of the course. The transitions were a bit rough I’d say. Not too even
Current fastest lap time on the board is 37.5 seconds for the particular track shown in the video.
It's super rough on both tracks and the races only last for 7 minutes.

Yeah babyLungz in the mix hood race Frs 😂
What would u rate it 1 to 10
Solid 8. Wish the track was wider to promote passing
Is there a weight limit?

Do you race for position? Or Lap times?
Lap times at first then once I feel the electric kart die, I go for position because passing is fun

It looks really slippery.

I was expecting this to be like Pole Position. Alot faster

$30 per race is a little too much
