I'm thinking about picking up the wine red seat covers too. However, I'm on the fence with half vs. full surround. Thinking it looks more sporty going with half surround vs full. Did you end up liking going the full surround route?
Love look of the seats especially in the red. How do they hold up after sitting in them for sometime, another words do you find them coming loose and having to re-tuck them in? Thanks.
I don’t see the wine red listed anymore, so you know if that is discontinued? There is only a red option which seems a bit flashy/bright and not dark like wine red.
I’m not sure if your question is related to the red seats or my other video on ventilated seats. The red seats have a perforation which is breathable and the heated seats work fine. For the ventilated seats in my other video, they are meant to be a temporary setup for just the summer.
Great video but terrible value considering the way the seat covers are installed compared to other brands at a fraction of the cost. I just bought and installed a set that look better (imo - same wine red) and they fully cover the rear armrest cupholder, even when it is down (just an example of fit/coverage difference). Great quality and better fit/coverage and cheaper. They were like $200 :) Edit - This guy has a video showing his and they are the same as what I have. ua-cam.com/video/-LQuOCIMUew/v-deo.html

I installed wine red covers on my black seats of my MY. It looks fantastic. My covers completely cover the back of the seats.
Yes, that is true. You need a lot of patience to get it near perfect 👍
@@TechnologicallyCurious Yes, the instructions are kinda useless. Took me 2 hours.

@@imdubc92088 Yes, I love the full cover because it looks OEM.
I just saw one while at Costco with Red seats with another color. Absolutely beautiful
Looks really cool and makes a different look for the model y!
Thank you, it definitely does 😊
I bought the red seat c9vers because of this video. I hope I like them when I install
Ordered my red today
Pick up my white on white MYLRAWD
Hi I was wondering they have a set of seat covers also for $379 is there a big difference between the $579 version ?
Yes they are nice

It’s holding just fine. No issues of it getting loose. The straps do a great job at keeping it together/
Funny, i had black seats and protecting it with white leather covers. Now i can enjoy the white leather!
I like those seat covers. Red is my favorite color. I'll ask the wife if she's down to put those on.
Good luck 😃 She will definitely love it. My wife loves it!
i want to get them but scared it will dye my white seats red, has this happened to u?
what product do you have on the sides of your middle console. Love the Alcantara!
Thank you. It’s the Alcantara trim from a brand called Tlyard.
@@TechnologicallyCuriousdid you cover that in one of your vids? Thanks
How is it holding up with the white interior? I want to do red seats too but I’m worried it’s going to dye the white interior red.
I want to know the same question

Seems like that red shade is discontinued.
I only see classic red but no red wine. Is it specific order for red wine?
I think they stopped selling it.
Great video! 2 questions: Which color is this; classic red or red wine?
Does the back seat middle console work with the back cover on?
Thanks 😊
#1 it’s red wine nappa leather
#2 it does but doesn’t cover the entire armrest when it’s unfolded.
How does heated and cooled seats work after installing the seat covers?

These are not good. They will prevent side airbags from deploying properly.
like he’s going to get into an accident
You should use the fart feature in the car :)
these look nice, but horrible for safety, as it blocks all the air bags on the seats + sliding = not legal to install any car seats (the back)
Are there any other options that you would recommend?
@@allan5135just use ceramic protection on existing seats
Not entirely true
@@nwalden5744 100% true, go read the user manual that covers this exact safety concern
These look like sh!t for the price.
