I remember listening to this in 2016 as I studied for my exams. I return every couple of months to listen. Listening now I feel very nostalgic and a bit sad, I think back to 2016 when I was at school not worrying about anything, and all my friends lived close. Now, my friends are all over the place studying at uni, travelling etc. I'm glad everyone is out there getting on with life but I definitely miss those days! I will never stop returning to this mix!

Oh my goodness.... my soul has just been saved by this.
During lockdown, while staying at my parents' house in Devon, I listened to this mix frequently. Having just graduated from university, I felt completely lost. To escape the loneliness, I became obsessed with long-distance running and cycling, and I remember playing this mix a couple of times a week for months.
This is the first time I've listened to it in three years. Since then, my life has moved forward: I worked in London for 2.5 years and recently moved to Arizona. Music has always been my coping mechanism for life's stresses. To anyone who is struggling, just keep pushing on and working to better yourself. Don't give up!

Discovered this mix 4 years ago when i went through a dip at work ... I was just not my best self .. used to listen to it every time i travelled long distance for work and whenever I just needed a mental break . 4 Years later .. same company, got a huge promotion, moved to Cape Town (my dream city), 2 Awards and a Healthier Me :) If only my 20 something year old self new back then, that whatever it was that I was going through was preparing me for the personal and professional breakthrough that was around the Corner .. I remember listening to this mix as soon as it went out.. and believe me or not, as soon as I feel bad this mix just pops up randomly and Im just letting it play, enjoying each second as if it was my first listening, as if UA-cam exactly knew that I needed it at that moment. its been 4 years now. So many things happened in my life, good and bad, so many things changed but this mix is still following me.. It became a part of me.
And it feels so good to be able to rely on something as strong as music, this mix definitely changed my life.
This mix brings back so many happy memories in the past few years. It will forever have a special place in my heart.

I few years ago I was not having the greatest time of my life for various reasons. I would hop on my Yamaha R6, play this playlist, and just ride through the mountains for HOURS...it was a nice escape. But eventually, I had to face the bullshit I was dealing with head-on. Escape wasn't the answer BUT the music was good!

He can easily get that info from youtube's analytics tools, but he does it this way because more comments = more engagement and thus youtube's algorithms will favor his video. Also it makes people believe that something great is coming in the video and makes them listen longer.

somehow i always have a nostalgic craving for the past. Altough we were poor, without my father and not much to enjoy with, my childhood and teenage years somehow haunts me all the time. The girl i couldn't ask for a date, the lack of luxury food, the lack of many technological gadgets, the dresses, shoes etc... etc.. These kind of music is taking me to so different places.
I'm passing through a though period in my relationship, and this music does remind me of all good things I've been through with my life partner. Nostalgia all the way... so I feel you!

I remembered the 1st time listening to this mix in Fall of 2016 taking Anatomy and Physiology 231 studying for the 1st exam. Last month I TRIED REALY HARD to find this mix, I couldn't remember it the name, but today I found it. It's like I found the lighthouse in a foggy ocean. This feels so nostalgic.......

this whole mix always makes me cry when i come back to it, i think its the nostalgia of different times when i listened to it 4 years ago and past that. So many songs on this list are songs that I have added to my playlists and listened to many times alone, but for some reason, when all of them are put together in this order and fade out and into each other, I feel my heart yearn and twist. Advertisers compete for advert space, and so the channels with the most user engagement tend to get the best, highest-budget adverts, which more users will watch through to completion. So yes and no. It's always good to have more up/down votes (they both count the same regarding engagement) and comments/subscribers.

Just found this mix couple weeks ago, downloaded and listened to it on our road trip to Sequoia and Yosemite National Park(no reception). I agree with most people here, it's by far the best mix I've heard.
