Hey Sam! Fantastic collection, you have a lot of titles that we really want haha. Need to grab the second volume of the Forgotten Gialli set and we should probably pick up the Lenzi/Baker box set as well (provided it's still available). I wish we hadn't passed on picking up the Night Tide limited edition set as well, we'll probably pick up the standard edition in a future sale. Will also grab Putney Swope in the next VS sale as well, I ended up having to leave that one behind during the last sale. Rita Hayworth's filmography has also been of interest to us, Mill Creek have a box set of a few of her films for a really cheap price which might be a good, cheap way of checking out a lot of her films. Great collection Sam, will be watching the next few parts shortly!
They do, I only started delving into their catalogue this year, and really enjoying some of the low budget horror and over the top action they have on offer. Lots of fun. Thanks for watching 👍
Great collection Sam ! I"m a massive spaghetti western fan & the Sartana collection set is a beauty & one of my jewels in my spaghetti western collection as its a collection of films i never thought would get official releases after years of having them as bootleg dvds. If you like the giallo genre, then spaghetti western & Euro crime movies might interest you as a lot of directors, producers & actors etc were in these italian genres. I like your de- clutter idea, i enjoyed "The Strangers" also, i agree "Robocop" is fantastic collectors edition from Arrow video one of the best ones for me including "The Thing" & "An American werewolf in London" editions. "Body Double" very underrated for me, i"m selective on my boutique label buys, i"m more movie fan related rather than label colecting & buy anything that has a label to offer. Top notch video !
Thanks! Hopefully part 2 will be ready tomorrow for your viewing pleasure aha I do need to delve deeper into spaghetti westerns. Big blind spot for me. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
You have some great box sets there Sam 🤩🤩👍👍 Scum is a great film, don't think that set has the TV version that was on the dvd 🤔 oh man those Vinegar Syndrome sets/releases are just THE BEST 🤩🤩👌👌👌👌 yeah 1975... Best year by far 👍👍 the Tingler is a brilliant movie, want a stand alone of it!! That Dornie Darko autographed set is unreal 👍👍👍those Vinegar Syndrome slips!!!!! 😲😲😲 my mission this year is to get my hands on one 😁 that's a LOT of Indicator movies!!!! Great video Sam, nice to see into your collection further 👍looking forward to Part 2 🤩🤩👍👍👍
Thanks John, it's a work in progress. Indicator may have the best boxsets, but Vin Syn have the best slips no doubt. Yea the Donnie Darko set is a special one, met Richard Kelly at the the BFI at Southbank in London a few years back 👍 Thanks for watching!
@@FilmBloggerSam yeah I totally agree with you, seeing your "forever" movies together was great, it makes sense to thin the collection down every now and again, so it gets stronger 🤩🤩👍👍👍
Having a “curated” collection is a great concept which I’m going to adopt. 1975 was an excellent film year but 1939 is still the best. Wonderful collection and I enjoyed your input on each film.
Yea, I loved supporting preservation and restoration, which is why my blu ray buying habits will remain high. The Grefé set is interesting, I need to reflect and see if there is value in keeping it around. I have 2 more parts coming out this week for this part of my collection. Thanks for watching 👍
My collection is most from Criterion Collection with some titles from Indicator, Arrow Academy and Second Run. I don’t want to collect in massive way having stress, therefore, I decided to collect no more than three titles per month. As I live in Southamerica, I can only get Region A or Region free titles. I am looking for having a region free Blu-ray box set from Indicator as I don’t have any one yet and I find Indicator very good boutique label among Criterion Collection which is the best.
Collecting alot films can be stressful, especially if you want to keep up with new releases. What you are doing is sensible 👍 Criterion titles are the backbone of alot of collectors, it has its reputation for a reason. Thanks for watching!

Loved part 1! I had so many titles that I need to add to my list now, looking forward to jumping into pt. 2 and 3 later when I get the chance!
Thanks pal! Always happens when watching other people's collections videos, get inspiration to look into more and more films aha

Great video. Thought you would purge Willem Grefe. It’s a unique release. I like the idea of owning film history

Hey man. Where did you get your shelving from ? Looking for something similar. Filled my other book cases haha. Just followed you on Letterboxd :)
The brand is called Lillyvale and can be found on Amazon. They are perfect for storing about 600 regular sized blu rays. Thanks for watching 👍
@@FilmBloggerSam Thanks very much. I'll look into it. Yea, you post great content and love your collection :)
