I own two road bikes, a tandem road bike, and a mountain bike. I do most of my own routine maintenance and minor repair work, but I still needed your video to help me figure out what to do with the three speed and the coaster break. Very helpful, thanks!
Thanks again for the video! After watching your video, I was able to remove and replace my rear wheel and tube after a flat tire slowed my morning ride.
Thank you for this video, other websites were saying that the nexus hub made it terribly hard to remove the tire, but with these instructions it turned out to be very easy! Maybe they should watch your videos too!
This video was very helpful, and got me through the process of removing the tire on my Electra Deluxe. As a warning, do not put Kustom Beercan Valve Kaps on your tires - when you remove them, it takes some force which tears the valve stem off of the tube! This whole ordeal started with one of those cool looking but destructive kaps!
Just another tip for those fixing a flat on the rear tire on this bike. There is no need to remove the wheel to repair the tube. I slipped the tube out of the tire right on the bike. Put a patch on and slipped the tube right back in the tire. Unfortunately, the leak was too close to the stem and the patch didn't hold. I only removed the wheel to put the new tube in, and for that this video was invaluable.
Thanks so much for this , had puncture in the rear wheel of my Electra Indy and really did not want to touch the gear assembly , this gave me the confidence lol , thanks !
I need to tighten the chain on my Electra Coaster 3i. I have read that I just need to pull the wheel back a bit & that should do the job. However I got stuck at removing the gears... Is pulling the wheel back all I would need to do? If, then this video should give me everything I need!
Help! What do you recommend I do if the 5mm allen screw breaks off the Nexus assembly? The head of the screw broke off, leaving the rest of the screw in the assembly.
Hi beach bikes. Don't know if you can advise is it possible to replace a 3 speed nexus on an Electra cruiser with an 8 speed nexus. Are the hubs different from the point of view of spokes?

The coaster brake on my Electra Super Deluxe has slightly different hardware, but other than that, this was simple to follow--thanks!
