Great video, you’ve saved me a lot of trial and error here so thank you. I found I also had to take the seal out of the top of the window frame as a lot of glass had got stuck behind the rebate of the seal
I used to work for Auto Windscreens many years ago, and a trick that we used to do if you coudn't get all the glass out, but could hear it in the door was to spray the cavity with wax oil, as it stays slighty tacky it would eventually grip on to any stray bits of glass and hopefully stop the rattle.
Love it when a plan comes together 👍. My Copart i30 I picked up last Monday. Is back together. Sending the front bumper for paint tomorrow. Probably be in for mot Thursday.
I know someone who disabled the open rear door button that's in the front of most vans. Or hid it, cos a brick through the quarter light, hit the button, and the back doors are open. If anyone knows how to stop thieving toe rags jumping a sliding side door of its rails, tell ford, as they don't have a bloody clue.
Hi Steve I'm trying to pull the trim out it's very hard as it is not coming off I'm talking about the whole black trim panel Please help me quickly if possible
Hi Can you show as please how to change multimedia screen settings like : Reduce multimedia screen running time after stopping motor ? For my case, it remains running until dropping down all my battery energy... Also, disable key radio reception to enhance battery energy preservation ? Thanks in advance
Great video - can the quarterlight be replaced with the main glass still in place? I need to break into my van and the quarter light is the cheapest glass to break
Do you intend to put a private number plate on this van Steve. Someone took a dislike to this van or the owner, was wondering if there is not a chance of the same thing happening again
Thank you so much for this video. The detail was fantastic even down to giving me the size of socket required.
Thanks Steve, I've just changed the NR side door window and used your video to do that, perfect. Cheers

Love the rebuild stuff like this rather than the racing videos 👍🏻

Good tip never knew that.
Thanks gavin.
Nice job Steve 👍
thanks for this, managed to change my window in no time instead of paying someone to do it for me 👍👍👍
Nice work there Steve , you certainly saved a good few quid by doing that yourself .
You make that look so easy Steve! Good job 👍
You save a lot of money doin all the work yourself. I wish I can do it myself
One thing I've learned by watching yours, and others, videos, is that Renault is very popular in the UK. :0)
Nice one looking better already.
Love it when a plan comes together 👍.
My Copart i30

Smashing the videos out on this one Steve,I ain’t complaining tho.
Not going to lie I haven’t been clicking on these van videos thinking I won’t like them but I’m really enjoying them 🤣

Great job 👍
Great video, keep up the good work, very helpful video. 👍👍😁😁
Good work u will have good van when finished 👍
Thanks.
It's always worth a bit of liquid soap in the seals to help the glass slide.
Or spray furniture polish like Mr Sheen or similar
Liking the video before watching it because you know it's going to be a good watch 👌
Same lol
really nice video, as always!!!
Really informative video mate ... interesting too seems to be a well built van
Nice vid very informative 👍
How did you get rid of all the broken glass that was stuck to the glue line around the 2nd row window?
love you vids keep it up
You saved a lot of ppl about £200
at some stage it might be worth investing in some aftermarket locks and security features

blackcountryme remove switch, unplug connector, refit switch. Simple as that
Would you put some Waxoyl in while the dorrcard is off?
You could but there's already loads in there from factory.
Great progress I'm more impressed with your car port do you have a video on the build?
Haha thanks but no videos of it. I built it a few yrs back though.
Hi Steve
I'm trying to pull the trim out it's very hard as it is not coming off

Brilliant 👍👍
Thank you very much good man

Love your videos mate, be nice to know why this was vandalised?
Great video - can the quarterlight be replaced with the main glass still in place? I need to break into my van and the quarter light is the cheapest glass to break
Thanks but sorry been so long since I did this job I can't remember if that's possible. I'd need to watch the video back to see
In case anyone else asks - yes, it can
Where do you buy the glass I've never really seen new for sale
I called a local windscreen company and asked them if they fitted the windscreen would they supply the side glass and they did no problem.
@@Sparkplugsteve good to know thanks
I see that ep3 you go to trackdays with is up for sale..
Yeh that's my brothers. It's still not sold and hoping he keeps it.
Can you tell me where you got the quarter glass from and price
A local company who fitted my windscreen supplied the door glass for me
Thumbs up to Amelia for the camera work!
Yes!! You said it again 🤣
I'm pet detective.😜
You're awesome!! and although i'll probably never buy a Renault Traffic or a Fiesta i do enjoy watching your videos Thank You.
Hey Steve do you not have a plastic trim removal tool set? They would make your life a lot easier 😄when it comes to panel removal
I don't but I'm forever wishing it did
Came here to write the same thing.
Looking good Steve, but what I want to know is have you taken the ply lining off the rear door? Lol
I have indeed. Cheers.
@@Sparkplugsteve was is as interesting as we thought?
Here because I drive a reno trafic
Good choice.
Did you sell the recovery light mate? Be interested in if you have still got it
Yeh it sold.
Job well done but do you know if the Police caught that plane? Sounds like it may have gotten away.
Fordy Ford 🥱
Is that a speed limited sticker I see? You'll have to get the limit removed?
It is and I was worried but the speed is not limited thankfully. I have no clue how I would remove it if it was.
Do you intend to put a private number plate on this van Steve. Someone took a dislike to this van or the owner, was wondering if there is not a chance of the same thing happening again
Na not really. It's now 3 hours away from its previous location and sign writing is gone.
Nice work. How much did the glass cost?
4 pieces for both doors were £140. Windscreen 190.
Love it. Where is that accent from? Ponty?
Not far in Rhondda. Thanks
Yep definitely get all the glass out because otherwise you'll be reminded it's in there everytime you shut* the door 🤣
Should of upgraded your speakers while you were there lol
I just bought Renault Trafic Sport 2015 from Copart with damage too easy fix
Shout out to urchfab for the use of his catchphrase ;)
Shout out Jim Carrey you mean. 😜
@@Sparkplugsteve Had to google it.
But yes technically you are correct lol
@@simong6855 haha you must be too young to remeber pet detective. Love that film.
@@Sparkplugsteve I remember the film , just not that scene.
Guess you must have watched it alot more times than me. lol
@@simong6855 Yeh always stuck in my head that scene. Best part of the film
Can't wait for the skateboard ramp, but its a shame to ruin all the hard work!
Might as well rebuild the lot as it's a Renault and you will do a better job
Ponty ?
Them jealous girlfriends can do more damage than a full on RTA...... at least theres no frame damage....(she said)....
Exiting content not 💩👎🏻
Next video I'm going to drive the van at 100 mph and launch it off a skateboard ramp so stick around.
Spark Plug Steve now that’s more like it 😂👍🏻
