For us the 2075 with no slide is perfect. One less thing to break and since there are only 2 of us and we are not full time we find the banquette and bedroom area provide plenty of space. And we love all the windows. Feels like we are outside when we are sitting inside!

I love the 2075. But the stove and sink are stupid. And they are known for storage. But. They could have put a curved door under the galley for a little more storage under the sink.I have seen many videos but they never say what the door under the fridge us for. Is it storage or access for something else.

I watched a review where someone with a Lance had an issue with the slide. The extra space is nice, but I’m glad to see a no slide option for those who prefer. If you boondock up bad roads in bad weather, I think it would likely hold up better.

Thanks so much for this outstanding video. We've owned two pop-ups years ago when our kids were younger and loved them. They are grown up and my husband and I are looking to retire in a few years, move out of state, and buy another camper. So far my own preliminary research shows Lance is the way to go. It's especially helpful to have this much honest info from an owner.

I love your presentations, comparisons and high/lo points. From a mechanical failure standpoint, I love the 2075 because it has no slides. I agree with Ann below, one (or more) less thing to break! We agree with the updated look and the queen bed, walk-around orientation. Thanks for your time, efforts and expertise!! Last thing, I download your Excel worksheet from another presentation ~ great stuff my friend!! As an Excel addict, I was immediately impressed! Cheers!

Have picked up two of them and left on vacation the next day and had zero problems on those trips , that does not happen often . Both times over 1600 mile trips . Have camped at 20 degrees stayed very comfortable . Great trailers !

Lol, what you hate about the 2075 is what I love about it. No slide outs. No slides to develop leaks or to maintain. No slides to cramp the interior space when you 'boondock' at Walmart or Cracker Barrel. No slide outs to have to consider when you park in a camp site. I'm frustrated with trying to find a decent trailer that has no slides.

My wife and I went to look at them. Beyond the indifferent attitude we got at the dealership, when we were finally able to locate someone who could let us in to see a few, we were let down. I still think they are on the upper side of the class, but still no where near what we want. I guess we just expected too much for this size and class.

I asked your opinion about towing a 1685 with my Canyon diesel a month or so ago and since then, I ended up buying a 2019 Lance 1985 in Roadster with the murphy bed from a man in Spokane. The Canyon does a great job, but I did install Bilstein 5100 shocks all around and Air Lift air bags (but I won't go more than 30 psi). Anyway, your videos convinced me to go Lance and I took your advice on not getting the 1685 due to the "crawl over queen" bed, even though I had my heart set on that model for about 2 years. Lastly, I agree, the 2445 is amazingly perfect and beautiful, but I would probably never own a trailer that big.

I have a 2021 1995 and I full time in it. I do live alone so I find there’s plenty of room and storage. It tows fine with a 2020 Tacoma. The size is nice because I can get into any national park or forest. As far as long term durability is concerned the Azdel sidewalls are a must. I see so many older coaches with delaminated side walls. This is virtually impossible with a Lance. Lance is only one of two RV manufacturers that I know of that use it on the inside and outside walls. The other is Nexus motor homes. Good video and review!

I'm considering the Lance 2185 towed by a 2024 Toyota Sequoia. But it has a surprisingly low payload capacity. I think maybe I could take the 3rd row seats out to get rid of that weight I wasn't going to use anyway. Hopefully that will work.

    @jlokanis 3 роки тому +1

Good video and discussion on payload. I would disagree however that the 2465 is safe to tow with a 1/2 ton. Our 2185 is right on the edge when we load up all the people and gear and a full load of fresh water. Maybe if you do not have any passengers or stuff in your truck and you go with a low spec truck that has a lot of payload, but our F-150 platinum crew cab only has 1505 lbs of payload. I would get an F-250 gas truck or a 2500 just to have the margins you talk about later in the video.

Good video, bought a 2020.5 1985 with sofa conversion so we could have additional seating option. Have Roadster interior and most options ( except electric jacks and rack on top). Purchased Lance for many of the same reasons as you did. Alas, the Lance quality is an extremely sore point with me at the moment. Slide out mechanism failed after two short camping trips. Dealer said it will take a minimum of eight weeks as they have to wait on parts. Was told by my dealer (small, brand new dealer) it was the fourth trailer they had with this issue, and was a result of improper installation by Lance. They quoted “This is a known Lance issue affecting New Lance trailers across the country”. Hardly comforting words . . . Hope you do not experience this. Also have sharp ends of screws protruding through bathroom wall, and screws falling on the floor every time the trailer gets moved. Not sure where they go. I hope and prey that when I get it back It will be relatively trouble free. The one year bumper to bumper warranty will really only end up being about a two week warranty as the camping season is short in Colorado and I probably will not see the camper back until mid to late September . . .

Great video. I'm researching Lance floorplans. We (2 of us) really like the 2375 because of the 2 seating options; The dinette and the rear lounge (pick either swivel-rocker seats or J-Sofa options). Like you said, we like somewhere to kick back. I too am hoping Lance refresh all models to the new Driftwood look. They also added a new door with pockets and sliding bug screen to the 2075. Next option for us is the 2075, but I just do not understand what went wrong with the kitchen - no countertop space, only a 2-burner, no hob vent, no oven option and very limited storage!

  • @Berrypancakes229

We bought the 2375 Lance Trailer. We had issues from the start. The fridge didn’t stay on gas . Dealer ship thought they fixed it only lasted for 1 trip and same issue reoccurred. Our Dometic furnace stopped throwing hot air. We froze over night. A mobile dealer modified a Part that should’ve been a recall on Dometic manufacture. Another issue was the wind sensor Awning. Replaced the battery. Had hard time updating using app and new battery kept beeping. The Led lights was replaced and still couldn’t get it to work, didn’t turn on. The awning manufacturer couldn’t help me told me it’s the wiring of the Lance. Another word it’s a Lance issue. We were disappointed in every trip we took these issues happened and was frustrating. I loved the confort of the Lance. Good quality. I’m afraid to buy another Lance because of how expensive they are. Please get a warranty. We were relieved , when we sold our Lance. He was told of the issues it had. After he took it on a couple of trip. The front window shattered. He noticed it when he arrived at camp. He thinks it was probably a rock coming from a semi truck hit it. Thank God it didn’t happen when we had it. Quite of few Lance owner’s had issues with leaks in the ceiling not being sealed with good sealant. I forgot to mentioned the tv would slide out during transient and had to push it in before pulling out the slide. Although I love Lance. I’m looking into getting an Imagine or minni

Btw I tow my 2295 with a F-150 that has the 3.5 eco boost, truck tow rated for over 11,000# which does very well

Every camper we have owned has had a slide out. I'm so done with them. For so many reasons. One of my top reasons is stink bug season. Those darn things flatten themselves and come in like the doors are wide open. Also, when breaking camp in a hard rain rivers of water stream in. Every slide we have had contains gaps where I can see outside which means critters can squeeze in then there is the dreaded slide mis- function just when you need to leave. these are just a few reasons I don't ever want to deal with slides again. We currently have a Grand Design 5th wheel. If we ever downsize from it, I've got my eyes on am airstream.

I bought a used 2019 1985 and it came with electric jakes. They are very convenient. I didn't want or need them, but now that I have them I can't imagine not having them. But for some reason the trailer I got did not have a solar pannel (would have been nice) or a slide-out awning. As for the fireplace, I bought a fireplace DVD off of Amazon and play it on the 32" Jensen. It even crackles!

  • @lifeisgood141

Although LANCE is a "better" built than many other manufacturers, they want to nickel and dime consumers on the lower-end models. For example, microwave is an option, which should be standard on 1475/1575. That turns off a lot of consumers.

  • @edrodrigues3333

    One thing about buying used.
If you can get one that was built pre- Covid, you’ll be better off.
The quality of trailers have really fallen off, even at Lance.
And trying to get service is almost impossible.
If you buy one used, hopefully, all the problems have already been addressed.
