GS Trophy U.K. 2024

This year I thought I'd step it up a notch and move up from the "Challenge" category to the "Trophy" class. I was a lot harder but still a ton of fun.
The BMW Motorrad GS Challenge in an event hosted every year in the stunning Welsh Countryside. The Challenge involves on and off road riding activities that will test your riding skills and navigational abilities. The aim of the GS Challenge is to have fun and experience the Spirit of GS. However there is a series side to it, with those who want to push themselves able to qualify for the biennial International GS Trophy.

Thing about it too, is even riding sections or bits or maneuvers that you can do in your sleep, there in that environment combined with being carefully scrutinized and / or timed, can put your mind in a whole new space.
As in most, more "professional" sports we all watch, the mental game is more important than the physical.
Yes, of course we must perform, but our minds can work for us or against us... real mental discipline is shown in such events. Thank you for sharing, a mate and I are practicing for the next Challenge, as we just missed them here in the US.

Well done Marc, whatever your finishing position. You've got to be in it to win it, so you're already head and shoulders above anyone that didn't do it! No doubt you'll get your armchair critics but it's all to easy to stumble or make uncharacteristic mistakes when the stopwatch is on you.
