To be honest this mashup just highlights how heavily punk influenced My Chem are. Their sound can vary all over the place and have like 4 styles rolled into one song let alone across an album (especially the structurally odd ones) but the instrumental could easily be one of theirs if Green Day hadn't recorded it. G seems to really like his Britpop as well.

not many people can make mashups like this work, but this turned out pretty great
It's quite easy actually, you just change one of the songs keys to the others then adjust the tempo to song one to song two vice versa
