When I first saw this comment I was like nahh, but this is kinda true build a boat is like a small game engine
i absolutely love how the hammer is the build hammer, maybe you could do it with other tools, for example the trowel, that makes some objects move when you hit them (optional)

would putting foil on the top of the hammer maybe work to make it more bouncy? it will probably have problems. just a suggestion
thanks for the suggestion but this actually wouldn't make a difference because the snow cannon has a weird property that if anything on the snowcannon has mass, it would push the other way

I don't know if this counts in bab but all materials have their own properties like buoyancy weight and friction. Fabric is lighter but has a lot of friction, corroded metal has a LOT of friction but is pretty heavy.
