Plants from the grass family can grow in many places such as grasslands that are made by grass over growing in certain areas. Grass can still grow in places such as under snow or even in the snowy areas but the grass will die over time. If dogs, cows, or any animal that’s a herbivore or eats veggies and lots of nutritious meals will make grass grow. Farmers have used this technique to grow there farms this substance is called “fertilizer”. Grass is an important food for many life forms, such as deer, Buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many more grazers. Unlike other plants grass grows from the bottom, so when animals eat grass, they usually do not destroy the parts that grow. Without grass, more soil might wash away into rivers (erosion). Let’s just say grass is very important to life on this planet without It many animals maybe including humans could die.
