The only music is this that my daughter and I .. my daughter is a natural, I found I am too, but so much older now (to dance). I wish I had known when we were younger... How much our Irish part of us is in us. So much more to say. I have multiple sclerosis (I can still walk) and to this day I can get up and dance to my Irish. My baby girl used to tell me "NO, Mamma, DO NOT PUT THAT MUSIC ON!" I did of course! & she COULD NOT stop herself from dancing. (our original name was O'Brady- O'Braddaugh... a few generations ago it was changed to live in the U.S. for the man to get a job, and perhaps escape prejudice. I am a proud Irish/Cherokee woman . I have 4 grown kids. My daughter is the the youngest after her her 3 brothers. My daughter can DANCE/she is thrilled like me with our Irish heritage.
I read your comment while listening and watching the video in the north-west of Ireland although I am from Dublin city.. It is a very lovely story and so nice to know you feel the great spirit of our beloved country, in harmony with your beloved Cherokee heritage through its music and dance.
I know exactly what you mean. I was brought up in England, but had an Irish grandmother in Galway, THAT made all the difference. And my father could dance like these fellers.
Now that's what I call step Dancing ,,, Beautiful dancing ....

So uplifting to watch gentlemen!!!
You inspired me today ☺️
That was fecking stunning!
Great. This is how step dancing should be. A minimum of arm motion. My paternal uncle used to dance that style in Newfoundland.
Talent flying right out of your feet. Thanks for sharing, it's a real joy! Mary McCue.
Looks just like Appalachian Buck dancing! 🥰

Dia duit agus go raibh míle maith agaibh a chairde! Is as an Gearmáin mise ach bhi mé i mo chónai i gChontae Slighigh agus Baile Átha Cliath ar fad fíche bliana idir 1981 agus 2001, is maith liom na tradisiúnta Éireanach agus ta grá mór orm ag Tír na n-Eireann is a mhuintir go léir. Is teanga an álainn í an Gaeilge. Tá me I mo chónai in n-Albainn anois, agus is maith liom an tír seo freisin, tá na n-Albanaigh an cairdiúil go léir.
Slán agus beannacht! Go n-éiróidh an bóthair libh!
An ceoltóir thú? Do chuid Gaeilge thar barr, ar ndóigh, bail ó Dhia ort!
FAB BU LUS
👍
Christmas song please
Stíl iontach breá socair !
Nár laga Dia sibh! Cé gur Clydesdale ceart mise agus nach bhfuil mé oilte i gcúrsaí damhsa , tá mé ag rá go bhfuil na leaids seo ar na damhsóirí ar an sean-nós is fearr sa tír. Tá an oiliúint i mo shúile agus i m'anam. Tá an stíl atá acu chomh nádúrtha sin, níl aon rud 'foghlamtha' ann, agus chomh maith leis sin níl na lámha ag eitilt agus ag geatasaíocht thart mar a fheictear ag cuid de na 'foghlaimeoirí' na laethanta seo. Conamara abú don sean-nós, idir damhsa agus amhránaíocht.
Good dancing, but the simple fact remains that 16bluesherbert90 is the most adorable and beautiful of all the women ❤.
Is maith liom é seo, a chairde
im in that video

Thar cionn ar fad!
What's with the 1920's gangster shoes?
😃
Didn't you know that 1920's gangster shoes were originally 1840's Seán Nós dancing shoes. As soon as gangsters made it big they wanted to look like the coolest kids on the block who just happened to be Irish immigrants dancing Seán Nós.
Golf shoes.
Very very good, but not as good as Lancashire clog.
tudgemyster That Lancashire stuff looks like a meh version of this stuff with crap music. Love the buck dancing myself...
Lancashire Log could never hold a candle to any Irish dancers the music is useless to
@@georgiasmith9672 we will have to agree to disagree, Do you dance?
