Wow some of the most cinematic G80 footage i've seen.
definitely yes!
Those sky shots are very impressive. 👌
Thanks! :)
for a second I thought, I was watching Black Magic Footage....Insane quality❤❤
Always love to anybody who can make 42.5mm look cinematic. It is a sheer art. Subbed
Looks very good! Has got that cinematic feel for sure.
Yeah it's a great camera for the money!
Really good! I've just got this camera yesterday and managed a 30 minute shoot with it! If you find time to watch my video and leave a comment that would be amazing! 👍
Well done! I just bought the G85 and I can't wait to test it out!
Thanks! Have fun with it!
Just got this camera before Christmas. Great camera for the money. Nice video :)
Thanks :) Great bang for buck. Also really love the IBIS!
Ok I have the camera now I have to do this. Nice one
Thanks!
Between this and your a6500 footage, it looks like you can make any camera sing. Beautiful imagery.
Indeed great video and very immersing :)
Thanks :)
Such beautiful colours! I love this:)
Thanks! :)
MovingPixels can you email me the Osiris lut?
I'm sorry it doesn't feel right to do that. You can buy them at the website of VisionColor.
@@KaspervanDijk oh, for sure. Never knew I could buy it. Thanks man
This is great 8 bit in camera settings
Sky shots .. wow I thought that it is first scene of Hollywood Film :D
Thanks! I was really glad how those sky shots came out :)

good bro nice!
how do export the video in such high quality straight from the camera
Wowww
Nice😎
very nice, you used any Grain for this ? how much opaacity on the m31? i love this, not going to far with the orange and teal!
Thanks! No grain. Opacity varies between 25% and 60%.
it is really perfect. What were your editings settings? sharpness? colors and everything? thanks
Thanks! I used Osiris luts to grade this. I can't remember the exact settings. I didn't use any sharpness though.
thanks
what are some convincing points for me to switch over to panasonic, I've seen a lot of videos about the gh4, g7 and g80 and I'm starting to like them more and more.
I will be using it mostly for video. 60 fps is a must. What would you say?
For me the biggest pros about the G80 are the great IBIS (even with non stabilized lenses), Cinelike picture profiles and the ergonomics. Cons: relatively small sensor and poor auto-focus for video.
You can shoot 60fps but only in 1080p or smaller.
How did you get the orange/teal look?
Did you use an ND filter at all? Especially for the sky shots?
None of the shots where shot with a ND filter.
Nice video. How did you get the ratio to be so wide? Thanks
Thanks. Change resolution to 3840 x 1634 in post.
What lens do you recommend me between panasokic 42.5mm vs sigma 30 f/1.4?
I've never used the 30mm sigma, but I think it's more versatile. For portraits I would recommend the 42.5mm. It depends on your needs.
Would you recommend this or the GH4 for that cinematic type style filming?
IQ is pretty much the same. GH4 has Cinema 4K, but I don't see much difference with 4K. I prefer the G85 for it's great in body stabilization. :)
Everything I've seen about the g85 in terms of cinematic style filming just seems a bit off, I don't know. Trying to figure out which to go for. I don't care about anything other than shallow depth of field and getting a nice movie like style. The stabilization is okay but I would use a gimbal at some point anyways. I'm just interested in overall picture quality.
With GH4 or G85 it's just a bit more difficult to get cinematic footage due to a smaller censor. But with the right lenses, lighting and grading you definitely can. If shallow dof is most important I would use a speedbooster or go for a6500 (bigger sensor).
What settings do you use within Cinelike-D? For saturation, noise reduction, contrast, sharpening, etc
Cinelike D: 0, -5, -5, -5
ISO 200
MovingPixels 0 being saturation? Seriously lovely work by the way. Looks like you shot on an ARRI
Thanks!
Contrast: 0
Sharpness: -5
Noise Reduction: -5
Saturation: -5
Dont you want to sell me this lens?
how did you get the sky footage? 1080 60p?
The first shot was in 24p 4k and the second shot is a timelapse in 4k.
What was the editing software you used
I used Premiere Pro
How slowmotion in 4k? Thanks for your answer ;)
You can't, only in 1080p.
MovingPixels thanks - this vid is n Full hd?!
No, this video is shot in 4K 24fps. No slow motion.
MovingPixels thanks :)
what settings did you use on the camera ?
Cinelike D: 0, -5, -5, -5
ISO 200
I've heard from some that doing this picture setup causes huge artifacting and noise when graded. I don't see any here, how is it for you?
The main issue comes in when you change the Contrast levels or Shadows/Highlights, because mainly you are bringing in a lot of noise, but as mentioned, they were at 0. In this video there are no humans so the -5 saturation level is not an issue but if there was a human in the shot, I wouldn't do -5, perhaps -3 or -2 because indeed the camera footage at 0 is a bit too saturated. At -5 saturation I've gotten greyish faces. Sharpness at -5 is not an issue though it depends on the lens, maybe -2 with lenses that are not so sharp and the idea with NR at -5 is to just do NR in post if needed instead of committing it in the camera.
0:18 whats lins?
