Hellooooo friends! I have been meaning to do a vintage basics/capsule wardrobe for SO long and I really hope you all enjoy this! It was really fun figuring out which ten items could make thirty-six outfits for a fall capsule wardrobe; I might just have to do this for every season! But I hope this helps you to see that you really only need ten good items to get a full month of outfits. Well done! You could also style the blouses over the pumpkin-colored dress so that it looks like a skirt. Then you probably get your 42 outfits. So many people think that one has to revamp one's wardrobe to go vintage/retro style. But one can always start with a few key things many of which, as you correctly pointed out, one can use with what one already has in their wardrobe.
I LOVE seeing stylish people (not minimalists) build capsules! I adore all my clothes, but sometimes bringing a few key pieces to the forefront for a while, makes getting dressed a lot simpler and quicker.
If hats don't quite suit, headscarves also can be used to give a vintage look, and to potentially cover your rollers or pincurls if your set isn't quite dry. I take the rollers out at the very front and roll them into standing pincurls and then wrap the rest in a headscarf
LTTP, but the bait footwear secret croc flats work from the 30s to the 70s because everyone loves a good pair of flats they can dress up or dress down. I've worn them with jeans and a flowy blouse, cigarette pants and turtleneck sweater, and just about whatever else i throw on. They're more diverse than keds court shoes or Sperry topsiders, which is saying something. Highly recommended.

Did you know plus sizes used to be called stylish stout? I’m not kidding. My favorite pieces are the trousers (perfect matching of the tattersall pattern at the front seam), fabulous green blouse, the tartan plaid skirt, and the black sweater. The combinations were really fun to watch. I was sad when we got to 36. Every piece looked high quality, swanky and stylish. Loved it, Kristina.
The feather hat with the jet dangle earrings and the gingham bow is an especially charming combo on you; I love it!
I would call the jacket, vest, and cardigan "toppers". One of the reason why I dislike summer is my lack of ability to wear any sort of topper in the heat!

I love the blazer! I have a really hard time finding blazers, my upper arms, chest & back are all quite big so unless i can try them on there is no way of knowing if they’ll fit, plus needing cropped styles as a wheelchair user. This one looks so great though, I’ll have to look for a similar one 😊

So many wonderful looks! I Love that orange dress. I like having purses that go with certain outfits or seasons but actually switching them out is such a pain. I remember someone came out with a purse that you bought the inner part with the handle and you could just swap out the exterior because they were hold on with magnets. Haven't seen them in ages but I kick myself for not getting one

I’m 5’7” so I am sort of tall? But I also wear heels that make me 5’9” most of the time 😂 60s short shifts are so cute! I can’t wear them because my legs are too long and uhhh… things fall out
