Zephaniah also made sure the captured Jewish Princess - Harlot of Babylon - was edited out of history through their Persian allies. She shared the same name of the Harlot of Jericho (Rahab) and she also wore red. She was used by the Princes of Babylon - Nabonidus and his son Belshazzar - against the Jewish community in Babylon.

Jewish history is full of turmoil, it seems
Jews have somehow got on top of divine hit list
    See this verse:
"And when your Lord proclaimed that He would surely send against them,1 until the Day of Resurrection, those who would inflict on them a terrible punishment. Indeed your Lord is swift in retribution, and indeed He is all-forgiving, all-merciful."

Very tragic. But at the risk of sounding cold and indifferent, they got what they deserved. Zedekiah was a bad king and a coward who got his comeuppance. And Jerusalem's people did not turn from practicing wickedness, including sacrificing to false gods. The prophet Jeremiah warned them, but they persecuted him.
The last Book of Jeremiah (Ch. 51) tells in graphic detail what happened to the city, including the destruction of the First Temple.

What happened to the Ark of the Covenant? My guess: If the Priests thought the Ark of the Covenant offered protection for Jerusalem against Babylon (or any other enemy), it was probably still in the Holy of Holies when the armies arrived. After the siege, building of the siege wall, and before the final battle, there was no way to move the Ark out of the city. Since the Ark was not among the things listed that were carried off to Babylon (I can’t believe the Babylonians would have knowingly burned up that trophy or its gold content) the Ark was very well hidden by the Priests in the passageways underneath the Temple, the city of Jerusalem or the area between the city walls and the siege walls.

Solomon is no monster, he started out with a good heart and good intentions. He was too extravagant and women were his downfall. He had so many and they demanded so much of his time because he was trying to please them. They enticed him to build shrines to their pagan gods (he was attracted to HEATHEN women, he found them more alluring) and to participate in their lewd and abominable practices. He was just a man who allowed his craving for these women to replace total devotion to God.

King Solomon is accountable for his own behavior. He knew that the covenant his father made required him to worship any God but him alone. Thats why Jews lost their right to rule in Israel. Its why the bastardaization of the Temple of Solomon fell as well. Read Kings 4: 4-9 to see why your people lost power. Jesus was the Messiah that came from David's line to give you a way back to the true God.

"Sing us one of those songs you used to sing back in Jerusalem!" they would say with a sneer." Where is your God now? He did not save you! " He didn't save not because He couldn't, but because He had had it with their stubborn rebellion and flagrant DISOBEDIENCE. So to the Babylonians He said " TAKE THEM. DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH THEM!"

Jerusalem actually fell in 529 BCE, for the record.
The eclipse in 763 BCE dating the Assyrian Period and upon which David's rule from 1010-970 and Solomon's rule from 970-930 BCE is incorrect. The eclipse must occur in the third month. The equinox occurs around March 28th. The eclipse now being used incorrectly to date David and Solomon falls on June 15, 763 BCE. Basically, the first month that would occur after March 28th that would fall around the 15th would be from April 15th to May 15th. Month 2 would be from May 15th to June 15th. The solar eclipses occur on the last day of the month. So the eclipse on June 15th is really month 2, not month 3.
Radiocarbon-14 dating from Rehov Cith IV linked with the Solomonic level at Megiddo and thus with Shishak's invasion dates a stored sample c. 871 BCE. The 763 BCE dated invasion by Shishak is 925 BCE, thus 54 years too early. Of course, precisely 54 years and 1 month later is an eclipse dated to July 17, 709 BCE, which is the original eclipse dating the Assyrian Period. When this eclipse is used to date David and Solomon and Shishak, Shishak's invasion occurs in 871 BCE, the precise same year you get with RC14!!
So in reality, Solomon ruled in the early 9th century and so gets credit for the great works and time of great statehood. Finkelstein's fantasy of the Omrides ruling during this time is thus incompetent and incorrect.
This distortion in the astronomy is linked to Greco-Persian period revisions for political reasons focused on Xerxes claiming that Artaxerxes was his son, when in fact, Artaxerxes and Xerxes were the same king. The timelines for the Persians and Greeks were revised and later when conflicting astronomical texts from the Neo-Babylonian Period exposed the revisions they were set to be destroyed. Fearing that all evidence of the original timeline might be lost, apparently Jewish astronomers created DIARIES that reflected the new dating but hid secret references to the original timeline. Thus astronomical diaries with errors have consistently pointed to events from the original chronology. Two such diaries exist for the time of Nebuchaadnezar II. These are the VAT4956 which dates year 37 of Nebuchadnezzar II to 511 BCE and the "Strm. Kambyses 400" (SK400) that can be used to date year 7 of Nebuchadnezzar II to 541 BCE. Having noted that, the problem of lowering the timeline by 54 years by using the correct Assyrian eclipse in 709 BCE rather than the incorrect eclipse in 763 BCE is completely resolved, since the SK400 and VAT4956 require lowering the Neo-Babylonian Period by 57 years, which cancels out the 54-year reduction inherited from the Assyrian Period.
The Christian dating timeline agrees with this dating since it dates the 1st of Cyrus to 455 BCE. When year 37 falls in 511 BCE, year 23 falls in 525 BCE, the year of the last deportation which lasts 70 years until the 1st of Cyrus dated to 455 BCE. Thus the VAT4956 and SK400 both point to 455 BCE as the original year for the 1st of Cyrus. This requires reducing the Persian Period by 82 years which is very quickly done: 30 years each for Darius I and Artaxerxes II and the 21-year rule of Xerxes, which is combined with the 41-year rule of Artaxerxes I, since they were the same king.
Having noted that, of course, the Exodus occurs 19 jubilees earlier, that is, 931 years earlier than 455 BCE = 1386 BCE. So the correct year 4 of Solomon, 480 years later would be 906 BCE. That means the rule of Solomon should be from 910-870 BCE. That means Shishak's invasion in 871 BCE occurs in year 39 of Solomon! That is significant since this is not considered by Finkelstein or any other archaeologist. However, Jeroboam and Rehoboam had parallel kingships and Jeroboam was appointed king before the death of Solomon. The context of Rehoboam's advancement in pagan worship also shows this was during a co-rulership since he is said to have mislead "all of Israel" and once Shishak's invasion was over he was consulting with the "princes of Israel." So obviously, he was king over the entire 12 tribes at the time. This dramatically changes the interpretation of why the northern fortified cities were destroyed and not the southern cities if Rehoboam was being punished. Of course, he was likely occupying those northern fortified cities trying to hold on to his occupation in the north and so destroying those cities was a big favor to Jeroboam. If scholars and archaeologists don't recognize this co-rulership, then the evidence tends to contradict the Biblical narrative. When the 6-year co-rulership is recognized then the archaeology supplements the Biblical narrative.
All lost on Israel Finkelstein, of course, who not being a historian doesn't realize that the dating for the Greco-Persian period prior to the rule of Artaxerxes III in 358 BCE is revised and it distorts the dating for David and Solomon. When corrected, David and Solomon get dated to where the archaeology points to, along with the corrected astronomy. Of course, you can get this specific dates from Jewish rabbinical sources, who always claimed the Persian Period was too long and that there were too many kings! This, of course means that Finkelstein's Aram-Damascus destruction of Rehov City IV is a complete fantasy.
The vindication of David and Solomon thus has finally arrived. Interesting that for all we get from archaeology, the date of the Exodus in 1386 BCE at the beginning of the reign of Akhenaten hasn't been realized by "Biblical archaeology." But archaeologists are the first to claim "we are not historians" so how would they know the Greek timeline was revised? The astro-corrected timeline though, thanks to the VAT4956 and the SK400 completely agrees with the bible's dating linked to the baptism of Christ in 29 CE and the 1st of Cyrus falling in 455 BCE!

When the Israelites were seized by the Babylonians, the Israelites rejected the strength of the Babylonian god Marduk, and became belligerent and started to observe radical monotheism as a counter to their capitulation to the Babylonians.

See if paganism was completely beaten out of their system by their captivity in Babylon. You would have thought the Israelites would have been sick to their stomachs of seeing idols and golden images of beasts when they were slaves back in Egypt, but what did they do when Moses went up the mountain? Why make a GOLDEN CALF, worship it and claim it delivered them from Egypt!!! They did this IN FRONT OF GOD, because He was in Person on that mountain!! • @matthewimi
      @matthewimi 6 років тому +1

      shihlin1
Ark of the Covenant was found by Ron Wyatt, in the 80s, and could only be in only one place. It was used in the final sacrifice when Yeshua sacrificed Himself, on the tree, shedding His blood when the spear peirced His side. There was an earthquake, & the rocks at the center cross hole were split, allowing the blood to flow down through the crack & was sprinkled on the mercy seat of the ark, hidden inside a room, roughly 20 feet down, and sealed off by Jeremiah & loyal priests before the arrival of Nebuchadnezzar's forces in 606/605 BC. Could also be 597 BC, or 586 BC, as Nebuchadnezzar returned three times.
On the third day, before Yeshua rose, there was another earthquake, resealing the opening so nothing else, like rainwater, could get through.
The blood is still there, & is atoning for EVERYONES sins 24/7.
"Your way, oh God, is in the sanctuary."
"Three give witness on Earth - the Spirit, the power, &...... The blood."
Hope this helps. BTW, what would really blow you away is what caused the earthquake. What Universal mechanics caused it.
      Many blessings. ❤

Well, bad for Jews as you can see. Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and killed most of the population. Only the smartest and most intellectual, musicians, skilled artists and craftsmen were kept alive and forced into slavery at Babylon. But their stay there was relatively brief bc 70 years later, Jews were freed and went back to Judah (Israel). Once they returned to Israel, they started rebuilding Jerusalem.

Great video, however you seem to leave out the critical part of WHY this happened and only shape the narrative of a victim. God's judgment for a wicked harlot, the same reasons God brought final judgment on Old Covenant Israel in A.D 70 with the destruction of the second temple. Old Covenant Israel ceased to exist, even till today, today they practice Rabbinical Judaism. Jesus (who they hate) said it best.
    Luke 13:34
*"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!"*
35 *"Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord."*
Or the Song of Moses, who was shown the evil Israel would do after his death.
    Deuteronomy 31
16 *And the Lord said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.*
17 *Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?*
18 *And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.*
