N is the lovable idiot trope done right. His dependence and love for Uzi in order to well, be himself, is incredibly charming. We couldn't have asked for a better male lead.
1. I love how N’s biggest strength, his willingness to see the good in others, is also treated as his biggest flaw, since Cyn uses this desire repeatedly as a way to get under his chassis. 2. He has what Uzi needs, and she has what he needs. N is boundlessly accepting of others and Uzi needs this in order to complete her arc, whilst Uzi has a tough exterior and a backbone, which N needs to develop in order to complete his. They complete each other.
Yes. It's the polar opposites attract trope done right. They seem like such an unlikely pairing but they work so well together, and that's probably the main reason why this show got me so dang invested in a ship when that doesn't happen very often.
you also forgot to mention that his poor mental state pre-pilot also caused him to hurt himself, as he mentions that if it wasnt for the ability to neutralize his nanite acid powers, he would have disassembled himself, something that we never see him even get close to doing in any other episodes. With everyone around him constantly telling him that he is worthless with nobody at all showing any care to him, he starts to truly believe it and has probably attempted on his own life a few times before changing his mind in the slight hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
NO I JUST SAID I WASNT GONNA CRY 2-DAY😭 It makes so much sense though so it kinda makes me wonder if he considered it when Uzi and v “sacrificed” themselves giving him the impression that literally everyone who cared enough for him was dead, like right after she sacrificed herself before he saved her
2:34 in my opinion, the real reason he says he loves doing anything isn’t because he wants to do whatever other people want to do, it’s because he was never given a *choice* to decide if he wants to do something or not. He was given orders and he couldn’t ignore them. He says he loves doing anything to lie to himself to make it easier when he has to do something he doesn’t want to do.
That's an interesting interpretation! The reason that I disagree is because Cyn seems to say in episode 7 that he loved doing anything even while they were at the manor. I don't think he would have felt like Cyn was ever forcing him to do things back then, personally.

24:55 This is honestly more my opinion, but something particularly damning towards “Tessa” is that she at least TWO reasonable excuses for killing Uzi despite knowing about the patch that she just didn’t give. The first being that she thought the thing was destroyed by the core collapse and the second being, considering the state of Copper-9 there was reasonable doubt about the thing actually working. That would be a serious Red Flag even if N did think of Tessa like a mother figure.
well glitch did say while the series is over, there will probably be more murderdrones so small side stories, like intemrission or expansions upon the world might be in the works
I mostly agree on N’s view of Tessa. N seems hesitant about omniciding all humans, so he isn’t against humanity in general from the start. Also, as far as he and we know, Tessa was the best human out of all of them. She dismissed J’s concerns about her wrist in the classic self-deprecating way humans do for some reason in real life. Seems to be genuine care about drones' feelings to me! And children sometimes don’t treat each other as people for no reason, so this is an exceptionally humane human child! Nobody from the main trio feels at ease next to “Tessa” at *any* point in the 6-th episode. Have you seen them look at “Tessa” *not* deep in thought? “Tessa” is on thin ice the entire time. Nori, bringing up Absolute Solver’s host being either Uzi or Doll... while N knows it’s neither (Doll was completely fine when trapping them, and Uzi was in control not so long ago), probably played a huge role in “Tessa’s” decapitation. Finally, “Tessa” used the *SAME* *LINE* as AS did before! If your friend uses the same cryptic line as an eldritch horror, that is not your friend! Otherwise, yeah, I agree! Lies are mean and rude. I feel like a lot of people misinterpret Tessa's relationship with Cyn, before she became all absolute solver. She was protecting Cyn from her parents, not actively disliking her.
That's an interesting interpretation! The way Tessa talks to Cyn in lines like "If that little butler dies for your sake, I swear" still make me think that she doesn't like her though personally.
I read your additional scenes and i liked it how you basically explained how V survived in 6th episode. Im glad you did it because until now i didnt get it. To other scenes they were just filling small gaps between episodes giving us more clear view on "how we arrived at this location?"
I'm glad you liked them! And actually the scene of how V survived is the one place I had to actually fudge the canon a little bit to make it work lol, because canonically we do see that the red sentinel's objective is still "eliminate AI targets" even after it goes crazy, but I literally have no idea how V survived and befriended the thing otherwise so idk
I think people forget that the *most* N has ever hurt V is during the Pilot and in Ep 4, where he drop kicks her into the ground to neutralize her (V is just sorta sitting there at the end like she gave up, lol), and hits her swordarm with his (why are their weapon arms capable of feeling pain???). He tries his best to talk things out with V time and time again, even if she rejects him or his advice.
I think I might end up saving Uzi for last actually since there's just so much more to talk about with her. She'll definitely be the hardest of the three.

But everything I just have to say kudos to you cause that document turned Murder Drones to a great show to peak cinama. So great job I think you should do the V analysis. I guess I didn't notice it directly affecting his actions that much, but I could have just missed it. I'll definitely talk about that stuff in the eventual V video tho lol
I think i like him because i relate to him in every way and it sucks but its such a good feeling that someone else knows how i feel too,, even if hes not real :,)
I was surprised at how you describe Tessa and I agree, it's a bit jarring that some people talk of her as a martyr. Also, I love how V opens up to N at literally the worst possible time.
@@philgaimz9847 i'd like to think they mean regenerating their sanity. He's really maybe one of the two people on Copper 9 still alive that's willing to actually help people in trouble, and help people heal mentally.
The reason I think N lost interest in trying to be with V is because of trust, V keeps on keeping that poor boy in the dark, he doesn’t hate her he just doesn’t have romantic feelings and I think that’s something y’all need to learn
Also btw N has a REASON to get mad at Uzi for her sacrifice He freaking saw TWO OF HIS GIRLFRIENDS sacrifice each other in the same day! And he has freaking trauma from it!
Oh for sure! But has he taken the time to consider the trauma he might have given THEM through his various sacrifice attempts? I love the guy, but I don't think so.
@@philgaimz9847also seriously not letting someone sacrifice themselves for you while you do that every time also gives trauma but it’s not selfish, that’s selfless, being selfish means you only care about yourself and you only want people to do the work (like J) while selfless means you care about others and always put yourself first against a bad person fighting your friend which is what N does…. EVERY TIME
I counted all of N's crimes and he ended up with 25 life sentences+ 22 years in prison and 20 death sentences, he's still cute as heck even with that list
Although I don't really agree with what you say about Intermission and what it relates to Tessa. I really liked your video and the way you analyze N's character seems fascinating to me... But I must say that I find it criminal (It's literary, don't take it the wrong way xd) that you didn't mention that scene from episode 8 where N suffers from a panic attack and has memories of the horrible things Cyn did to him when he turned into a Disassembly Drone. Because that scene shows us that N, even though he is a sweetheart, doesn't mean he has wounds that he can't heal. Besides, it doesn't seem like that was a memory that Cyn eliminated, but rather it is a trauma that he himself repressed, but when Cyn tried to steal his core and opened his chest, he remembered it, he remembered the night of the gala, what Cyn did to him and the memory of his discarded friends by his side. Which shows that N was hurt all this time and that behind those smiles and innocent and pure behavior there was a darkness in his heart and a trauma that real scarred him, showing us that sometimes those people who give the most hugs are the ones who need them the most.
N. Guys, N has no business being so innocent and Sweet after the events of Episode 1. He was mistreated by who he thought were his friends V and J, Uzi literally blowing his head off, and almost dying again from J giving him a Virus, yet this man decides it's all good. God, N should get a head pat for just existing.
lol it's hard to find a murder drones soundtrack that's perfect for background music the whole time, even the ones that are mostly chill have at least one or two moments of suspense like that

I guess I didn't notice it directly affecting his actions that much, but I could have just missed it. I'll definitely talk about that stuff in the eventual V video tho lol
5:25 alternate wording: “And then an emo gremlin blows his head off”
I think i like him because i relate to him in every way and it sucks but its such a good feeling that someone else knows how i feel too,, even if hes not real :,)
Welp, I am officially correct, I am the living breathing human version of N...
this is a sick as hell murder drones video!
I was surprised at how you describe Tessa and I agree, it's a bit jarring that some people talk of her as a martyr.
Also, I love how V opens up to N at literally the worst possible time.
Here's the thing other people like Uzi can't regenerate, but he can
You mean regenerate their bodies? Uzi, Doll, and all the Murder Drones can do that.
@@philgaimz9847 i'd like to think they mean regenerating their sanity. He's really maybe one of the two people on Copper 9 still alive that's willing to actually help people in trouble, and help people heal mentally.
Honestly, whatever flaws his character has have never really bothered me
The reason I think N lost interest in trying to be with V is because of trust, V keeps on keeping that poor boy in the dark, he doesn’t hate her he just doesn’t have romantic feelings and I think that’s something y’all need to learn
N after getting amnesia he's so fucking adorable confusing and damn well innocent
0:45 this reminds me of a certain robot bear franchise
Also btw N has a REASON to get mad at Uzi for her sacrifice
He freaking saw TWO OF HIS GIRLFRIENDS sacrifice each other in the same day! And he has freaking trauma from it!
Oh for sure! But has he taken the time to consider the trauma he might have given THEM through his various sacrifice attempts? I love the guy, but I don't think so.
@@philgaimz9847 1. Uzi knew N could regenerate
2. V knows N wouldn’t die as well
@@philgaimz9847also seriously not letting someone sacrifice themselves for you while you do that every time also gives trauma but it’s not selfish, that’s selfless, being selfish means you only care about yourself and you only want people to do the work (like J) while selfless means you care about others and always put yourself first against a bad person fighting your friend which is what N does…. EVERY TIME
We all headcannon the intermission episode, dw.
Just saw rhis dudes vids now bro he makes good points and is very relatble to me
22:14 You are correct. Also, v could also just completely
regenerate
19:11 Bro turned into Cyn for a second
19:08 read these! They’re really good and fill up the gaps very nicely!
in the end slideshow, one slide points to not everything being solved. ROBOT THING
We love him for about the same reasons we love Papyrus.
If Pap had a body count.
Me watching this video: FINALLY. N APPRECIATION.
Me seeing 18:42 : OH HELL YEAH❤❤❤ EVEN BETTER🎉🎉🎉🎉
Uzi and N's relationship is truly strangers to friends to lovers
25:39 i just realised that his katana did not retract back to his arm and its just there
I counted all of N's crimes and he ended up with 25 life sentences+ 22 years in prison and 20 death sentences, he's still cute as heck even with that list
U did great, I totally understand his relationship with Uzi and V
this video made me realise myself...
idk
Yummers
Idk what to say I watched this until my phone got to 5% not being close to a charger
N is so nice and helpful
I love this
TBH he’s actually my favourite fictional character of all time I love him so much
Oh yeah he's probably in my top 5 of all time too, maybe even top 3.
I just realized, N is just like me 4:55
Reason we love him is because of his name N-nice
Cool video bro
Most people that like N they just like a guy who jokes a lot
Amazing Video 👍👌👌👍
Intermission intermission intermission
N = Golden Retriever with a LMG
He is the goofiest goober to goofy goober
Please do a video about Uzi. She’s a ball full of cringe hot topics. 😂❤
i love N
he is so cute
N is just a silly little goober
DAMN the show is well written. All of the characters are pretty complex
hes just a lil goober
5:09 ayo
💛💜
Great
what is the random suspence in the backround about
lol it's hard to find a murder drones soundtrack that's perfect for background music the whole time, even the ones that are mostly chill have at least one or two moments of suspense like that
N a bean...VIDEO ENDS!
true dont trust your feelings my autistic brother
every single twinge of emotion must be scrutinized logically
@@philgaimz9847 your right!
Absolutely I on emotion deial as well
N is my boy!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Fun Fact : N and uzi are dating as shown in episode 7 (spoilers) where uzi asks N if they are dating
I like N because he is a GOLDEN RETRIEVER and I LIKE GOLDEN RETRIEVER
i wach this shov for the fift time
i think it was episode two when N got feelings for uzi
I think it’s episode 4 cause at the “sky talk” or at the end on the bus him trying to hold hands before backing off.
I just thought this was a goofy show with a lot of lore but NO it’s ALL LORE
Bro 29:40 minutes explaning 💀
Bro has never watched a video essay before
N IS A EPIC DO NOT HATE HIM HE IS A LOVABLE CHARACTER!!!
Wow chill drink some tea relax and that’s coming from me
