Dang! That thing looks heavy! Was wondering what you would to to stand the miniature up like that. I assume you have a dragon mini down the line at some point? Maybe breathing fire? Idk, could be cool!
Hey Alex. i'm glad I found your channel. I'm sculpting my first mini following along your videos and I'm and having a blast. I have a doubt tho. How much do you let the miniature dry between each step? I was sculpting some armor and at first I just sculpted a part and attached it right away to the miniature. I decided to let the other part of the armor dry more for the next step and I got a better result doing that. I'm asking because I saw you sculpting a face (and other stuff) and I was wondering what's your rule of thumb regarding that. Thanks!
Yes you should definitely let the material set between steps, I’m generally working on multiple projects at a time so I’ll add a detail on one mini and while I let it set work on the other mini. I’ll generally leave a good few hours for something like armor or faces where your adding more green stuff on top of it, and if your using milliput you should let it set for even longer, like five or six hours.
I just finished my first one yesterday! It's a bit weird and out of proportion but I'm super happy with it. I'll try to sculpt three zombies now so I can use your last advice. Thanks, Alex!
That’s great man! I don’t know if you saw my video on some of the basics of miniature sculpting but if your struggling to get proportions right, use reference, have a couple photos of zombies and such to get an idea of posing and some anatomy photos as well. It can be insanely helpful to have references for for what your sculpting.
I DMed a beholder fight once. It was awesome! It took the whole 4hr session! I researched them every day for almost a month. First time I laid into my players.
Thank you. This was stunning.
Excelente trabajo.
It’s so cool to see what the mini looks like when it’s primed, it must take a lot of self-control to not just prime the mini 5 minutes into sculpting
Haha, yeah sometimes
This might be my first project, thanks!
for sure man! go for it!
Wow! Foil base, im also used it in my recipe!
Nice craft☺️

That would be a very big project, but maybe at some point in the future
@@magicmissileminis9723 Maybe it’ll be a multi-part project? Maybe a 2 episode in one week thing? 100 Subscriber special?Idk, just spitballing.
yeah I might do something like that
