Just started cycling in NYC and really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for being a steward of our city.
I don't live in NY, but I live in a pretty small town in Kansas. We have stuff like this all the time even when its not very loaded. We don't have a bike lane on most of our roads, and when we do, cars will honk at you, tell you to get out of the road, and more. We're not allowed to bike on the sidewalk, which is why we get pissy when we're yelled at 😂😂

In my „City“ to go by bike is pretty cool. It’s really bike-friendly and we have bike-roads where one can drive side by side and cars are secondary

Noticed several cyclists without helmets like the redhead chick. I don't think i'd venture around Manhattan or boroughs without a helmet, and I try to ride 70+ mi a week here in Cali.

I didn't like NYC at first. I thought it was too big, too crowded. I don't know when I started loving it. But I do have to acknowledge that everyone has a different experience when you live here . If you have money, if you don't have enough. there is a little thing to do for everybody if you are willing to get out of your comfort zone.

It's a feature on the Orp Smart Horn bicycle accessory which flashes lights and makes that annoying chirping sound heard in the video. It's advertised to lessen the chances of being "doored" from a vehicle, but I found other uses for it as well.

It's so dangerous to ride your bike in NYC, or better, the US. Give bikes and pedestrians more safe space. Maybe more people stop using their cars.
There seems to be a lot of obstacles for pedestrians too and I think the scafolding is drwing people to walk on the road.

I don't know if you are OCD or what but you need to stop with the closing of peoples gas cap doors. I have a relative with an older car were that thing is broken and if it is closed he has to pry it open with a screwdriver. I don't know how common it is for people to have that problem, but your little public service would be an irritation for him.

As for the vehicles blocking the bike lane, they're only doing it because they can get away with it because the city isn't doing its job!
