+trumanhw Dude you must not know Johnny Archer personally. He doesn't have any class I'm not just saying that because I don't like the guy, but I'm serious. Unless your in his click like you heard them talking about he may give you the time of day, but if not if your just a fan or another average guy who plays pool believe me he is a total dick not really even approachable. I'm talking about out of all the top players Archer is probably has the worst attitude of them all.

No I know a little more than what my remark implied; there's 100 ways to be a shitbag and a good guy... I can separate each in to categories. I wasn't talking about his ability to be a husband. Why would I care about that? lol.
I have to admit, I hate it.... Johnny is a good player, but the comments they make are silly....
it's great to hear Johnny talk open and honest about the state of the game. you can hear the genuine concern in his voice for the future of the game.
Shannon and johnny on the mics made this video worth watching, felt like being in a pool hall with some friends and just watching some run out rotation games.

I absolutely Loved the the really HONEST commentary by Johnny about the state of the sport and his passion to make it better for EVERYONE! That was great to hear and I as an avid player and fan am happy to hear such words and hope one day to be at an event and meet all these great players! Come to San Antonio! Lol

My favorite thing about this game is that it combines many of the games that people love already plus new ones along with a clock on it. bank pool, a mix of 9 ball positioning and one pocket, snooker similiarity, and straight pool break. Awesome!!

Great commentary but I have to say I LOVE BONUS BALL!!!! Great game. I looked it up after you mentioned it on this feed. Great game!!! The shot on the singles match with Corey Deul, when he made that last crazy bank shot on the orange ball with only 2 seconds left!! That was amazing and I saw it on professional players the excitement and once again the fear of missing a shot because of a timer. I still want to see at least an example of a shoot out in the game though!

Yay alvin commentating! After listening to some other commentators in other venues I lost all ability to like other pool videos compared to inside pool magazine videos.
Shane is so GOOD it's almost unfair really ... theres players out there that can beat him in a race to 5 or 10 or eve. 20 but u take shane at his best against anyome in a race to 100 shane wins hes that good

He lives down the street from me and any time I need any work done on my gear he's the man to call. He's re tips cues in his garage lol like a fucking G lol. JP in the hizouse!
and for that comment on the feed that said that bonus ball is too complicated, tell everyone who plays snooker their game is too complicated as well because both games have the same complextivity to them. Not saying one is easier or harder to play but the rules and strategy because of those rules are equally difficult.

I agree with Shannon pool certainly doesn't receive the publicity that it deserves. Pool has always had that stigma and it's strange look at poker, I think it has a worse stigma than pool. One thing in poker that really brought it out and made the public take notice was television. Very seldom do you ever see pool televised regularly it's not out their in the public's face. I think if they could start picking up some more T.V time it may bring some new faces out and get people interested in it. Like anything else get it out their in peoples face let them see for themselves that it's nothing like the fictional stories you here, but that's my opinion on it try to get more television time, I think most everyone would agree poker didn't really take off until you started seeing it on every station after it started airing on television people came out of the wood work playing people from all walks of life.

Well, to get publicity, it have to be televised, not only streamed on internet.... In Norway Snooker have been a big thing ever since Steve Davis was a young star, and we see all the great matches, even if they last for a whole day, even two days some times.... It is not about being quick, but about having quality commentators that make the sport interesting.... Take a look at BBC or ITV in England, and how they do the commentary, they acutally talk about the shots made, and what they should do.... Not about how boring it is to say anything about the shots being played..... If you are new to pool, you need to be told what is difficult, and what is easy etc etc..... It is so lame to listen to Johnny, Mel and Shannon talking crap..... Better with no commentary.... But again, insidepool is great since it is free, but to make it public, it have to be public, and easy to get to.... So the information about events have to be spread out.... Guess there is plenty of viewers in Europe that would love to see big events in US if they only knew about the events... Darren Appleton is making his best efforts with his new "league", but that will be pay per view thing.... And then you loose a lot of potential new players/viewers.... People that are not interested in pool now, will never be interested if they have to play for something they dont know what is ...... And if the commentarys are as bad as this, then they will loose interest faster then Johnny can do Mel !!!!

Enough of the self-hatred among the pool set. It's a niche interest, not unlike gin rummy. Get over it. You don't see the gin people changing the rules because poker has blown up. Pool has its fan base already. They are fans for life, who are turned off that a new, gimmicky game is being hawked at them for (imagined) commercial reasons. Meanwhile, the golf watching public has decided they don't care about pool, and having to learn a goofy new rule set is not going to change their minds.
Commantators may be funny but they don't follow the game, sad.

I'm not anti-female announcer, I think Dawn Hopkins and Ewa are good (on ESPN), but this women's voice is annoying.
