Now that the new games have been released, it's time to get some Star Fox Evolution videos (and more Star Fox videos in general). What's your favorite game of this amazing franchise? I like every single Star Fox game to be honest. - Roddy
Haha anyone notice in the Star Fox 2 intro how the dog says Andross is firing IPBM's, Inter-Planetary Ballistic Missiles, rather than Inter-Continental. I thought it was cleaver...
Ah, Star Fox. Played 'em all, loved 'em all. I really wish Nintendo would finally (officially) release Star Fox 2 on their Virtual Console Service. It was practically finished, after all. I'm sure lots of fans would love it, too. I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I know you did an evolution of Bowser Battles in Mario games, but could you do one for the battles with him in the Mario RPG games (that includes the Paper Mario series and Mario & Luigi series by the way, not to mention the original Legend of the Seven Stars)?
I've owned every Nintendo console since the N64, although I never played a Star Fox game before. I hear it's a great franchise, though, so should I get Star Fox Zero?
I think almost every game except for Command is a better experience than Zero. I'd highly suggest StarFox SNES (the original), Assault for gamecube, and 64 for N64 for the best possible experience, but you can also wait for the SNES mini and you'd have StarFox 1 and 2.
+The Champion Kirby Robot Basically just Drawcia, Marx, Magolor, Sectonia, and the Star Dream. What? the Star Dream is the last boss of Planet Robobot's normal mode, but it's not the final boss of the game. Let's just say, it's a bunch of Super Star fanservice.
Unpopular opinion: Star Fox died following the release of Star Fox 64 Star Fox Adventure killed the franchise. It should just have released as Dinosaur Planet. The game dug the franchise a hole it never got out of.
No, it didn't. Star Fox never died, nor was it ever "killed'. If it was, we wouldn't have games like Star Fox Assault, Star Fox Command, Star Fox Zero, Star Fox Guard, or even Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
Adventures didnt kill the series, but Zero did. It’s not that the game was bad, it’s a solid 6.5/10 in my opinion, it’s just that it sold horribly. Nintendo doesn’t see the potential that the starfox IP has, and only sees the poor sales. Which is also why series like Earthbound and F-Zero don’t get sequels. Not because the game sucks, but because Nintendo doesn’t see any profit out of them.
An interview about Star fox adventures revealed that Miyamoto wanted the follow up to 64 to be an adventure game and they had a team already planning it out. Around that same time Dinosaur Planet got shown off and they offered the IP and merge the teams together. So you still would have gotten a game did not played exactly like 64, with or without Dinosaur Planet.
Sometimes I sit and wonder what was going through Nintendo's heads with the creation of Star Fox Adventures, it was just so random and such an out of place game, but was not too bad :/
It started life as its own IP with no ties to star fox. The main characters were originally going to be krystal and her twin brother blade, natives to dinosaur planet. Then someone, i think it was Shigero Miyamoto but dont quote me on that, mentioned how similar in design Blade was to Fox so the team ended up pushed to make it a Star Fox game instead. This pushed them back to the point where they had to redevelope the game for game cube( it was going to be a 64 game originally) just to be relevant.
It wasn't originally meant to be a Star Fox game. It was its own thing called Dinosaur Planet. But for reasons I don't know, the choice was made to integrate the concept into the Star Fox universe.
seeing all these kick starts from the great fox really makes me want to jump into a fighter jet myself
Star fox assault was my favourite game with 4 player mode.
Starfox Assault had the most fun multiplayer.
También es mi favorito
Starfox adventures was my childhood and I love. I might buy starfox zero.
I guess we should be thankful. XD
Fun Fact: The subtitle says "yummy, yummy" for the "pew-pew" sounds oft the guns!
Ikr lol
I think the Landmaster looks different in Assault than any other Star Fox game.
the music at the start of the first cutscene sounds so familiar...I'm getting a Meta Knight vibe from Kirby Super star ultra
Somehow, I like the Intro of the first one the most. It's so cute^^
I agree (^o^)

I think it's kind of a remaining if I recall correctly.
I've owned every Nintendo console since the N64, although I never played a Star Fox game before. I hear it's a great franchise, though, so should I get Star Fox Zero?
Yes. You might like the characters more knowing more about them.
Get Star Fox 64 3D. Great game for a great price :)
I think almost every game except for Command is a better experience than Zero. I'd highly suggest StarFox SNES (the original), Assault for gamecube, and 64 for N64 for the best possible experience, but you can also wait for the SNES mini and you'd have StarFox 1 and 2.

Everything up to Command is canon
The time line goes from SF 64, Adventure, Assault then Command which skewers up to 9 questionable endings
