History
The Bavarian Class Pt 2/5 H locomotive, built by Krauss for the 1906 Nuremberg Trade Fair, was a unique model with the rail number 5201. Designed for the Royal Bavarian State Railways, it featured a 2-4-2 wheel arrangement and a superheated steam system, enhancing efficiency and power. Despite its advanced design, it couldn't meet all performance requirements, making it a one-off model. Integrated into the Deutsche Reichsbahn, it served until 1933 before being retired and scrapped.
