The title of the video is an obvious slight at Hans and it's not their first. It's just so grimy, do they not see the irony in trying to seem empathetic to someone wrongly accused of cheating while also being the ones responsible for trying to ruin someone wrongly accused of cheating's career. They put out a propaganda hit piece on a 19 year old with blatant misuse of statistics to push a narrative and think its funny to make a joke of it ? So out of touch by them.

I was really cheering for Denis. Many of the other players in this tournament have been playing at the top level for years so it was so nice to see Denis sharing that stage with them. I think he has a bright future ahead of him as he is still very young. I just hope he uses this experience to get stronger instead of feeling discouraged. He was competing in this room filled with the literal highest level of chess on planet earth, and he really proved himself. Looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.

It is absurdly naive to assume anyone who cheats is cheating all of the time, every game, every move. A prodigy capable of upsetting top players doesn't prove anything with regards to cheating. If you cheat one move every three games, or even just look at the eval bar, over the course of a season/tournament your results will be much better than without cheating, and completely undetectable. You may very well lose some games that you cheated in, but you will win more than you lose, especially if you're a talented player.
Fact is, Lazavik's incredible online results are not matched by his OTB performance. He didn't win any games in this Final except against MVL in Armageddon, when MVL had less than 10 minutes. That doesn't PROVE anything, but it's still SUSPICIOUS. It's one piece of evidence that gets added to the pile, and time will tell.

Give it a break, dude. Really, you think this guy is cheating. He seems like he has never had a drink stronger than chocolate milk. He said he gets nervous. My goodness, he's 17. Lay off.

@bassmanjr100 17 is not a child. And I didn't accuse him of cheating. I have a healthy skepticism. And while based on his appearance, I don't think he is capable of armed robbery, I am not naive to assume he is too innocent to do anything wrong.

Given he and his mother are Belarusian, I would sooner have had some questions about autocracy, Ukraine and war crimes more generally than the cheating accusation, where the nature of the answer is obvious before it was even given.

Just Stop With All The Cheating Videos. People Making False Accusations Shouldn’t Be Allowed To Play. They Just Want Publicity They Aren’t Getting Because They Don’t Play At These New Levels.

When Magnus drew against Garry, someone thought he cheated as same as him. When Hans dominated Magnus, someone thought he cheated as same as him. But we know it's all skill. If you aren't a cheater, just play your best. Your skill isn't linked with others.
