- I'm really sorry, I had no words to describe about what I was feeling, I was speechless, I was thinking about that it was so hard for the mother of mush as to leave him in the river, and how he grow up subhanallah after that he asked Allah to make his brother also a prophet, to help him and then how the bin Israel start worship idols even must as did all that for them subhanallah I was just so much on my thoughts, because it was so much, and as I said in the video that there are so many others stories about prophet musa as subhanallah.

This surah tells the story of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him)who saved the Israelites from the cruelty of the Pharaoh, but now the children of Israel are no longer praying, even many of them have become atheists.

Notes (on this chapter): You will love this!!
Some scholars say that Allah, who knows everything, asked Moses about the staff to calm him down. Also, notice Musa's answer!! Some scholars observe that when Moses, pbuh, said, "I have therein other uses" was an attempt to prolong the conversation with God a little more!! I may add my humble observation: It could have been that or he wanted to be sincere in answering God's question without adding minor details, out of respect.
Notice that God, the kind, said, "Put your hand under your armpit. It will come out shining white, unblemished (with NO HARM). He added "WITH NO HARM" before Musa did it, so he would not get scared of illness. How merciful our Lord is, SWT. He, the all-knowing, even ordered them to speak kindly to Pharaoh, who was a huge tyrant.
Notice that Musa killed a man by mistake, not intentionally. This is mentioned in another chapter.
Notice that Moses asked God for his brother to share the task of prophethood with his brother! Tremendous love! Scholars say Musa was the best brother !! What better gift from Allah can a man ask for his brother than PROPHETHOOD!!!!
6:57 God says, "Go to him and say...", the big transition between scenes occurs, a beautiful transition from God's dialogue with Moses to Moses/Haroun's dialogue with Pharaoh!! Allah did not say, "When God finished speaking to Moses, Moses and Haroun left the valley and went to Pharaoh's palace and said we are....." Rather, Our Lord uses transitions between scenes. DID YOU NOTICE THAT! This is a new innovative style, according to non-Muslim linguists, that has never been used before. God's speech is something else! It is utterly eloquent.
There are many transitions in this chapter, many, so try to look for them to see for yourself. They are so smooth.
Notice Moses chose the festival day so huge crowds of people could witness the miracles and maximize the dawah (preaching). Notice Moses and Haroun, pbu them, first warned the magicians not to do it, out of mercy to them. (Though they knew they would win, they still tried their best). Many of us actually would have hated the magicians and wanted desperately to show the miracle to the crowd, forgetting the magicians' fate. The brothers knew they would win, yet they tried their best to give them dawah quickly as long as time permitted them. What beautiful souls those mighty prophets have.
Here is an example of many smaller transitions. Allah did not say, "Then Moses threw down the staff.." It was given. Did you notice that? It suddenly showed the result of the miracle by showing the magicians falling down in prostration. Some scholars say while prostrating (accepting that this miracle is from God, taking the step toward Him), He showed them something to make them assured (I don't know if it is their place in heaven or what... I have to check).
By God, these are very little notes to what can be read and inferred and deduced from these verses that it would take pages and pages without any exaggeration. Read tafsir to see it for yourself. Some of these points above can be deduced by just reflecting a little.
Notice that in Arabic the words are not only amazing but even shorter because you would not see (the brackets: explaining to you who is who etc) because the verb carries the gender and if it is singular, or 2!!! or more ("regular" plural), here they are 2 prophets, so in Arabic it has a plural of two. The Quran has many layers (levels) of meaning, so it is appropriate for all types of people, from simple people to doubters to deep thinkers who meditate and reflect on God's choice of words. Just meditating on the verses increases the readers' intelligence!

Here are a few examples to show how the Quran is precise and teaches the use of inference ( only one aspect of its eloquence).
First, whenever you read in the English translation of the Quran the word MAN in the sense of MAN_kind, know that in the original Arabic text it uses the word Insan (Human in Arabic) almost always, but there are a few exceptions. Please read this verse:
"Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior…" Quran 33-4
Here the word used is "rajul" (man in Arabic). Guess why God did not use the word insan (human) in this particular verse? It is a good exercise.
The answer is below.
Because if he said Insan (human) in this verse, it would include women, some of which have 2 hearts in them: a pregnant woman has her heart and her baby's heart ! That is how precise the words of Allah, the Wise, are.
Even many Muslims, including native Arabic speakers, would not capture the subtle choice of words like in this example. Take this quiz or give them this quiz without my little introduction that gives many hints, and see for yourself. It requires deep reflection.
Many verses have different layers of meaning and all are correct. God made it so, to satisfy all types of intellectual levels.
Example 2:
"But those who disbelieved-their deeds are like a mirage in a lowland which a thirsty one thinks is water until, when he comes to it, he finds nothing but finds Allah before Him, and He will pay him in full his due; and Allah is swift in account." Quran 24-39.
Notice the image in the above verse. The disbelievers hope and expect their good deeds to be waiting for them on the Day of Judgment, but it would be like a thirsty person walking in a hot desert and seeing a mirage and thinking it is water. When he gets closer, he will not find any of his good deeds but rather find Allah, his creator, before him! Is there any bigger surprise than that? It can't get more powerful than that! This is the biggest and ultimate surprise a person can ever have!
Notice it went from plural (disbelievers ) to a singular subject (he). It says, " But those who disbelieve-their deeds... When he comes to it, he finds Allah." The sudden change of pronoun is to remind us we will be questioned individually before the Almighty, hence the singular (he).
Notice the word, "thirsty one". In the Arabic language, any word can be modified to denote an extreme state: extremely hungry, extremely thirsty. So this is achieved by modifying the word (thirsty) a bit, and it denotes an extreme state of ... "Dhama'an", extremely thirsty.
Notice that the verse did not say that a "traveler" sees it as water, which would be perfectly fine. Rather, " an extremely thirsty one" who is in need of water, as we are in extreme need of our good deeds on that Day!! Disbelievers' deeds are like a mirage , worthless, without faith and correct beliefs, and they chose to be disbelievers by choice, and some of their deeds are done for the sake of praise, giving charity for the sake of lowering taxes (a well known practice), etc, not for the sake of God, so their deeds are mirages, and they find instead ALLAH before them, whom they had thought was a mirage in their past lives!
That is only one verse!
It should be noted that all good deeds performed by nonbelievers are fully repaid in this life! No good deed is lost. That is why they won't find any good deeds that they did in the next life. This indirectly explains why certain people AND nations are doing better than others, in part because they did their homework better, as God ordered all of us to do, BUT ALSO in part, they are receiving rewards for their good deeds for their advancements in medicine, justice, transportation, etc., in this life, also in part as a fitnah (test) for them because many think they don't need religion nor God anymore with their accumulated wealth and advances. The very idea of religion sounds silly to them. An already indoctrinated disbeliever (by science, or atheist parents, culture, etc.) arrogantly mocks and calls those who believe and don't share their view, indoctrinated. It is also a test to see if Muslims will stand firm or follow their example by ignoring religion and pursuing the same pleasures that the Quran eloquently refers to as the FLOWER of life (the unlawful company of other sex, wealth, children, and so on).This is an eye opener for those who meditate.
Aside note,
"And [it is] a Qur'an which We have separated [by intervals] that you might recite it to the people over a prolonged period. And We have sent it down progressively. " Quran 17-106
"Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word." Quran 73-5
It is far more important to read half a page per day and ponder the meaning than it is to read 40 pages quickly. Meditation has the potential to reveal hidden meanings and change your life forever. Meditate on the possible interpretation by yourself, and only then check the commentary book (tafsir) to see how good you are at capturing the translated verses. God has described his word as heavy. So there is no need for speed; rather, contemplation is what is urgent.
God will help a person to understand his book if he or she takes their time to understand its message. There are many levels of meaning which stimulate the mind intellectually because only perfect words in their perfect places are given. There are many stories about how Pagans felt when they listened to the Quran for the first time. The light of God in pure eloquent amazing style.. new style , not poetry, not prose. They were unable to categorize the style! But the main eloquence is in the meaning of the message, and that is for all humanity.

The story of Prophet Adam pbuh and Mother Eve pbuh in Quran make perfect sense than what is in the Bible.

“Al-Wudu is half of faith, and All praise is due to Allah (Al-Ḥamdulillāh) fills the Scale, and Glory is to Allah and all praise is to Allah (Subḥān Allāh wal-Ḥamdulillāh)’ fill” - or - “fills what is between the heavens and the earth, and Salat is light and charity is an evidence, and patience is an illumination, and the Quran is a proof for you or against you. And all people shall come to the morning selling their souls, either setting it free or destroying it.”

made my hair rise and skin shiver. The depth of it... subhanallah al atheem. When you pay attention you see the weight of the Quran... Like when Moses was telling the magicians "woe to you, don't fabricate a lie against God! Indeed he is doomed whoever fabricates a lie against God". Like Allah actually saying this Quran is not fabricated. That made my heart sink.

If you study surah taha in depth, actually Allah conversation with Moses at the beginning was considered funny by many scholars, including Nouman Ali Khan. The reason is because Moses was not like other prophets who said "We hear and we obey" when receiving Allah commands. The conversation teaches us that prophets are also human beings who can feel fear. Moses was afraid of the pharaoh, so he didn't take the order for granted. Instead, he asked for many things to make his task easier, even inviting his brother so that he could share his fears.
Subhanallah, yes and that’s why we have so many stories about Musa (as) because he went through so many situations, we have all these examples of so many situations in life.
Subhanallah actually so many times when I hear stories of Musa i have to smile because he was quite different hihi (like every prophet (as) were different from each other) but Musa was a bit .. how to explain..hm.. I don’t really know how to describe him.. but he asked Allah swt questions that no other prophet would ever do.. and more other things ) for example he said to our prophet to ask Allah of less prayers , our beloved prophet (saw) came because and Musa told him to go back to Allah to ask for less.. again and again hihi
