'Blood - curdling.' When something curdles, it congeals or becomes lumpy - milk etc. A very old expression to describe someone so alarmed that their blood has changed consistency....so your use of the term is very appropriate! Gripping investigation chaps. Completely baffling.
Does the UK have any wolves or bears or any other large apex predators that could be lurking about? I would be worried about that if I were investigating a house like that one here in the US. Of course, we also have big cats in some parts; in addition to squatters possibly hiding nearby. Glad to see you investigating together; safety in numbers!
The largest land mammal in the UK is the red deer. The most dangerous land mammal in the UK (other than humans) is the wild boar, although no deaths have ever been recorded. The land mammal responsible for the most human deaths in the UK is the domestic cow (4 to 5 deaths per year). The UK is home to foxes, badgers, squirrels, rabbits, deer and hedgehogs. All could cause some strange noises in the night but perfectly safe if you don’t disturb them too much! 😊
Unfortunately some of the knocks are really faint, so the microphone struggles to pick them up! But when I was editing using headphones I could hear some of the sounds we heard on the night! Might be worth a rewatch with headphones? Unless you had some on? I do apologise either way! I don’t know how I could fix the audio issues
