An Arrow Crab, Puddingwife, and three friendly squidsters. Quite the potpourri of sealife against a feisty classical background! Thanks again DFB. You started my day off right!
Oh my gosh. You have really outdone yourselves this month. The music was just perfect for the fishes. Thank you, lovely to see the rays and the turtle. Just a quick question out of curiousity, which comes first, the video footage you want to use or the music.
I capture footage everyday. As the month goes I see what is the trend of footage (if that makes sense), and start thinking of ideas. As those ideas are being processed in my mind, music is reviewed to see what will work with what is in my head. Sometimes it works out, sometime I end up with something completely different. But it all starts with the footage and any clips that stand out in my mind. Additionally and most importantly, the comments from viewers that are made help to influence it as well. It's a collaborative effort between the viewers and our creative thought process. Hope that makes sense.
As a filmmaker with 40 years experience I must say I look forward to these cuts because the beauty of nature and the rhythm of their gyrations is expertly married to man made art of the cut and score. If this is the side work of a local government employee, it’s even more stunning. But regardless employee or contractor...it’s just flat out art! Congratulations.
Ahhh...now i can start the new month out right!! Always love these recaps!! Thank You to DFB for all u do to brings us some sanity and peace in this crazy place we call Earth.💖💖
Seeing this video and the sharks I remember in the late 70s I flew over Deerfield pier and the beach in a helicopter and I was shocked to see all the sharks swimming around the people that were in the water they didn't even know the sharks were there that was the last time I swam in Deerfield Beach. I still miss my hometown I love that place keep up the good work!👏👏👏👍
Blessings to you all. The recaps are so wonderful ❣️. Each one, I think they can't top that but you do! Can Not chose a favorite. I would love to have a disc of all for depression times. No way to feel bad after watching! Equal to Disney Fantastia
2 things: 1. I stopped the camera from moving for a short time. Waiting for the turtles to start hatching in the nest right in front. Should be soon. 2. Working on a side project for the volleyball area. Stay tuned!!!
@@DeerfieldBeachLive can't wait for those little turtles to hatch! Hoping the cameras gets some footage. Will they be able to do a short video if they get any footage? I was looking a for recaps of the turtle nesting on camera and couldn't find anything.
@@DeerfieldBeachLive -- -- oh, I must have missed him then, thank you for pointing it out, I will rewatch (old with bad eyes, so forgive me). Edit - Saw him, thank you so much!!!! He'll never know how loved he is.
This is an ongoing process through out the entire month between the capturing, labeling, music searching and then once everything is done - it takes about a day to edit. As the month goes on, I try to think of a theme with a music style and a lot of it is guided by what is going on in the chat. We use Premiere and sometimes After Effects.

So much variety in a brilliantly orchestrated, choreographed 3 minute masterpiece, Bravo Deerfield Beach!

WOW! Thank you for the huge compliment. That means a lot coming from someone in the field.
This is my favorite monthly video series on UA-cam. Dania Pier needs to step up their game. can you do a video showing fish as they are caught?
I like the idea, but it would take an incredible amount of time to work both of the cameras and unfortunately we don't have that kind of time.

Another great recap. Thank you.
I didn't know Harry Callahans
obstructive shark showed up. I'll have to keep a look out to see if it returns.

I saw that shark rub his back on the ground, and what looked like a snail on the dome, when they were live. Cool that they were included.
Awesome reminds me of grammar school back in NYC. School trip to Carnagie Hall and heard lots of classical music.
this is wonderful. all diffirent kinds of sea life. and the music fits so well. great job deerfield.love it.
Thank you recap editor, you are a genius ! This is fantastic.

Wow, @2:42 these 3 tarpons turning, amazing footage.
Always look forward to seeing the highlights of the pier! Was that a Dolphin at 2:36?
That was a snook. That particular night they were going vertical all night chasing after that bait.
🌞 Nice but please fix the beach cam so it swings over towards the volleyball court side as well! 🤽♂️🤽♀️

Wonderful as always! Only one thing missing....king Benny LOL
King Benny is in there!! 2:24 - I even tried to highlight it to make him stand out a bit.
@@DeerfieldBeachLive -- -- oh, I must have missed him then, thank you for pointing it out, I will rewatch (old with bad eyes, so forgive me).

How long does it take you to put this together? And what video editing application do you use?
