Stuck at 6 notes per beat. At 8 notes per beat I get way tense and it doesn't go. It takes time and patience.

Hi Orhan,
trying to get it right all these Picado style - it is quite challenging of course. It is also difficult since playing guitar for several years, my fingers get used play in certain order (mostly free style) , now that I am into more and more Flamenco, there's of course total new challenges and need to follow certain rules. For instances, when playing Picado exercise, I know two fingers (index and middle finger) always needs to alternate, and if I am correct, start with index finger (i) then middle finger (m), alternate...but sometimes unintentionally my middle finger starts first...and I read some other tutorials and lessons, it says nothing about which fingers (i, m) starts first, but they mostly talk about importance of alternating two fingers..
what's your advice?

The best is to train with the 2 fingers, and to choose according to the sequence, the finger with which you are most comfortable. I start certain sequences with the middle finger and start scales with the index finger. Both fingers should be worked in as many ways as possible. Each individual has a different morphology and therefore not the same placement of the right hand on the guitar.
What is the string you are using in this video 3 are black?

I find the alternate picking finger very difficult. When for example going from the E string to the B string, my brain REALLY wants to play it with the finger that got there first. Should I just keep grinding until i sticks? Will I just make things more difficult for me later on if I don't?
same probleme here lol the wrong finger slides alone as he is already on the string lol the problem is that i do the 8 notes per beat correctly with the wrong moves
so the direction of the right hand should never change?

most of the time your right hand was playing tyrando. why?
My i finger jumps up automatically and it's difficult for me to force it down, to achieve economic picking. Is it common for most or is it an abnormal deviation?
Peter, the solution to this is to practice "staccato", that is: play with i and stop immediately with m, play with m and stop with i. Try at first with the right hand only and on open strings.
@@MassimoIncarbone I can do this way 8 notes per beat at 80bpm. But whenever I play real stuff, even much slower, my finger pops up way too high. Maybe I should be just more patient with it. Anyway, thanx!
