When a bike is the combination of engine, looks, tech, structure, reliability, power... There can't be a single doubt that Triumph Tiger 1200, with all it's specs, it's by far the best adventure bike! 141 HP with shaft drive! Heated seats! Quick shift up and down and very smooth! Heated grips! Cruise Control! Three cilinder! Arrow system! Electric shield! Adaptive lights! Tyre pressure control!

I've been waiting for the tenere 1200....great bike.the shaft drive needs no frequent maintenance....yamaha revs your heart...live to ride ride to live!!!
i also think my wallet get hurt when a new tenere 1200 come out,but this is the 10 year old model with minor upgrades.Even not a facelift..

Got one,To heavy,so i dropped it twice standing still,and 10 years old now..I got also problems to push it backwords,i think this is the shaft drive.otherwis love the tenere..But the new afrika twin is far more advanced

Yamaha Super Tenere Raid Edition , 10 Years old model, still a great bike but difficult to handle at low speeds (from experience)i dropped it twice standing still..
Triumph Tiger 1200 Desert , nice looking model but good dealers difficult to find.Quality ?
Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT Good brand,nice looking model ,but worth 15.000€?
Display not so good like the other new models.

Ktm 1290 Super Adv. Made in...don't trust the brand,good i like the "insect" look but don't want to drive far from home with a KTM.
Kawasaki Versys 1000 , from experience, great 4 cylinder engine, little boring,and heavy.
Honda Africa Twin love the new model,looks are not so good like bmw,moto guzzi, but nice to have in my garage.Handling is great.Display is awesome and easy to use.Maybe my favorite

With these bikes, a lot of raving here about the 1250GS, in a lot of off road situations, they are just too damn heavy and energy sapping to control, F850 is far better, and the other brands have plenty to offer, apart from Kawasaki, who are dragging their feet, on making a complete new adventure range, the Versys range is a joke (always was), just reworked Z range with zero off road ability.

You know what's really annoying? Somebody that can't even figure out how to mute.

THEY really would be annoying. But even still not as annoying as people who insist on overlaying unrelated music tracks when the actual sound of the event would have been more appropriate.
Having now mastered both the mute and volume controls, I still find it annoying.
