I was hoping for a reference to the oracle series or Link’s awakening.
Was she, though? Was there a Zelda in Twilight Princess?
Zelda is in almost every game excluding the one that takes place in that one game where a witch curses a princess to be in ugly clothes.

That’s sums up Link’s character in my head completely.
I mean considering a bird kidnapped his sister, a magic sword stole 5 (7) years of his life and he LITERALLY turned into a wolf (not to mention the things Devi doesn't know about) I'm pretty sure O.K. is the furthered thing from him.

I mean you want life hating you with passion? Be one of these two:
A. Link from the beginning of "Era of Light and Dark, Decline Timeline"... So let's see... First that Link endures events of "Link to the Past" - ya know like Death of his father figure - his Uncle... Then the ordeal of saving Hyrule itself... Finally finishes it, gets everything fixed by hitting Triforce "reset button", but technically it denies any glory and fame he earned in the process and also let's not forget that mental scars are forever... So he decides to leave on a boat to different lands to train (and obviously to just get away from all this)... Instead gets shipwrecked on an Island... And so events of "Link's Awakening" happen... Which have him bond with people of Koholint Island... Specifically nice girl Maron... Only to find that this is all a world within a dream of giant magical fish and the only way out is to destroy it... With all people that became dear to him... Yep including that nice girl... And after all is said and done he is stuck alone in the middle of the sea... But this doesn't end here oh heck no... He has events of Oracle of Ages/Seasons to get through and then to foil plans of Twinrova to resurrect Ganon again. And all these events basically happen right one after another. Imagine how emotionally broken and tired Link was by the end of it?
B. Link from the beginning of Child Era (Child Timeline) - Hero of (Ocarina of) Time who had to lose 7 years sleeping, save Hyrule from Ganondorf only to be forced to sacrifice his glory and fame and then Navi abandons him right away as she has no more reasons to stay with him - 'cause Job's done... I mean think about it - because of his "Destiny" he as a child was forced to become a soldier... Yeah i know Navi is annoying fairy for player - but for him it was him dream come true... Finally got his own fairy like other Kokiri people.... But he was Hylian not Kokiri, fairy was with him only until Job's done... So he ends up discarded by people he fought for and denied his small dream. What he does? He becomes desperate and goes on a search for Navi - yep I kid you not this is the official story setup for his Journey which ends up with him having a big ol' "Majora's Mask" adventure in Termina city. Going through timeloop after timeloop he ultimately saves Termina... but he is never able to save everyone (seriously you can get veeeery close to it but still will miss a few people due to clashing time-schedules)... This two adventures do a number on Link... He is just never the same. Yes he settles in Hyrule eventually, becomes a knight... But over years already damaged man becomes obsessed with the idea of leaving a worthy successor and even this he never attains and dies... Only to come back as a Staflos, undead warrior, The Hero's Shade... And keep on going on... Until finally his soul is put to rest as he fulfills at least one of his dreams by passing down his skills to Link of "Twilight Princess" era.
Seriously being Link is suffering in general but sometimes it gives the guys 2-3 extra Lego bricks to step on.

For me he’s like a mix of mainly time, twilight, and wild Link haha
I love how Link is basically that one quiet kid suffering from ptsd, yet since he's so quiet no one can tell without actually getting close to him, which is hard considering his mental state continues to deteriorate every time nintendo needs a new legend of zelda

This just made me realise how much shit Link's been through over the series.
His sister got kidnapped, his uncle murdered, he got put into a 7 year coma, got stuck in an apocalypse time-loop, turned into a wolf, had multiple best friends kidnapped, got randomly teleported to a different country, stuck in a dream world, had to save the world to keep his job, got turned into a painting, and nearly lost his crush/goddess to the king of all evil.
Rolling all that into one, its a surprise the worst thing he got was muteness and a bottomless appetite.
Thank god it's not all in the same lifetime.

Basically he is ferb. Gets only one line an episode.
I mama technically those are all different Links (besides oot and mm) but that just makes it worse considering every link has some kind of shit in their life that makes them ultimately going on their quest. And plus that they are all mute and always sleep at the beginning of their journey.
I'm glad Ganondorf is using the school assembly to help raise awareness about Rushroom addiction. I legitimately felt bad when I did that side-quest.
I never linked breath of the wild to speed until now.

The whole events form breath of the wild are just Lincoln drowned in his soup.
I wasn't a particular fan of him. But if course, I feel like I'm one of the few in the community who doesn't want him to be mute.

I am imagining a scene with Lincoln just vandalizing someone's house because high school hijinks. The vases will be no more.
I also feel like the artist really liked Zee's boots, so made all the characters compliment them, which I found funny.
You're right! That line didn't exist until Laura sent the Zee concept outfits. We all loved that design and the boots in particular were awesome, so I wrote the line with Devi geeking out over them.
I saw Mipha in the back, and now I imagine her being like "oh my god he's a dumbass i love him" to Lincoln

@@aerozed95 In Smash, it's pretty obvious how they revealed it. Now we all know that Zero Suit SAMUS is Samus. Even without the secret ending knowledge. In Smash 64, if you get electrocuted, it shows ZSuit. So, in the very beginning, Samus was a female... Of course. Although, you still do have a point

This was a fantastic first episode! I love the diversity in the characters personalities and how well they fit into their modern roles. And the music was perfect for every scene. Looking forward to the next one!

This was great, you have to make more!! Some of the writing was just A+ for Zelda fans - "Lincoln doesn't talk much" killed me.

The animation was top tier, the writing was good and the voice acting was ok. The only thing I would really criticize would be the audio mixing and background noise. Either way I am excited to watch more!

I'm liking the characters so far. The personalities match up really well. I think keeping Link as a mostly silent character was a good choice. Animations are smooth and the number of little Easter eggs hidden in the background are fun to spot.

Yep, and lets not forget to make sure the the RAW MEAT is at room temperature before you cook it, Too hot and it becomes seared. Too cold and it freezes! Raw meat is VERY susceptible to weather temperatures!

This is really great, I played most of the Zelda games, the fact that I saw characters from other games makes me want to see this grow from UA-cam to become something bigger and better.

I love that the voice of Yang is Zelda in this series. I'm hoping to see Mipha at some point. I'm also hoping for Din from Oracle of Seasons makes and appearance, she was really cute.

That was was honestly quite a fun episode and hope to see more of these along with your other original projects soon enough. I almost got some Egoraptor vibes with the animation but I know It's your own original art style but Incase someone ever tries to compare to you to him or someone else ya might wanna try to change jsut Incase, but for no way honestly did quite well. ^^
what do you mean, it’s her artstyle, you can see her old videos look like that as well. Also, generally speaking, having your style look similar to another style is called inspiration. A lot of people take in different styles that inspire them from others and make their own style.
