Holy crap. I never realized a high energy song like this could sound so good mellowed out. This is amazing. Thanks UA-cam algorithm for pointing me here.
omg i love BAD RELIGION! they are without a doubt one of the most amazing bands in history. they are so original and sing about real life issues. i wish that there were more bands who sang songs that are RELEVANT and have true meaning, showing the problems in the world like them. i think that everyone should have to listen to bad religion; taking notes and writing more songs that open the eyes of the masses to the problems in this world.
Amazing version.. I had Stranger Than Fiction in '94, and it was one of my favourite albums, still is to this day. I never thought that the songs off Stranger Than Fiction could be resurrected with such style, I was so wrong.. These guys never fail to amaze... Brett and Greg together are a unique and amazing songwriting partnership, just like Lennon/McCartney and Jagger/Richards.. :) The most amazing duo of our generation!
Now here I go, Hope I don't break down, I won't take anything, I don't need anything, Don't want to exist, I can't persist, Please stop before I do it again, Just talk about nothing, let's talk about nothing, Let's talk about no one, please talk about no one, someone, anyone You and me have a disease, You affect me, you infect me, I'm afflicted, you're addicted, You and me, you and me I'm on the edge, Get against the wall, I'm so distracted, I love to strike you, Here's my confession,
i am an old rocker born in 57. Don't mind the heavy metal version, but this version is something I would want to hear and see in a live concert, at a smaller theater. well done
That really is the sign of a great song, one that can be interpreted in any number of ways. I'm sure a decent jazz or blues musician could produce soemthing beautiful too. Cant wait to see them in summer!!
I had a nightmare once and it so was scary....woke up sweety and alone...called a friend. Got over it. I had another one where Bad Religion didn't exist... I'm still in therapy

...his voice is fucking great and their lyrics are so expressive...i don't wanna miss their music since i heard them the first time (only a few months ago)
im not saying someone with green hair and spikes cant be punk, but i think i see your point. some try so hard to look punk and be an individual they end up being another cookie cutter example of what a punk should look like on tv or in mags. imo punk is an ideal and an inspiration and cannot necessarily be defined by any one fashion, band, or rant. but hey this debate will never end
@johber34 I may've still found Bad Religion if they weren't a punk band, but punk music is most relatable to me and appeals to me the best. I played in a hardcore punk band (1999, 2001-2003) and that was amazing.
Is it bad that first thing I thought when the video started was "He's got grandpa socks on." ? Well I did, either way I really love Bad Religion, I love hearing the songs played acoustically.
jesus christ (lol), this is great. how many songs are on this kroq set? I watched New Dark Ages, Dearly Beloved, and this. Are there more?! Sweet Merciful Christ on a Popsicle Stick!!! BLEEDING WOUNDS OF STIGMATA, THIS ROCKS!
@OliBN1 it wasn't their fault it was the venue. I forget which venue it was to be honest this was like 8 years ago maybe? But basically half the fans were segregated upstairs without the option to go downstairs and be near the stage. Riot ensued, drinks were thrown on stage, all the amplifier equipment blew up. Bad Religion to their credit tried to carry on without amps just main speakers, but it didn't work. Massive bottle/ pint glass fight broke out. It was a right laugh.
dont get me wrong i lov bad religion i saw them like 8 times in show and my friend is a photographer for them here in mtl but i've heard this song being played by black sabath
@canadiandanman ..people were leaving the concert by the masses... that doesn´t mean BR sucks. Either doesn´t mean BR is great. That means the masses don´t think. love and respect for BR. (my English is the only one thing that sucks :( sorry for that)
I need to have you teaching the principals of Application and Scientific Wrightind going forward. sound like you can do that for Me. Love You Brother, Very Fucking E/Affective (Same thing really, when you think about it), Great contrast. You teach the taught the principals, we need mechanics now, ya khnow. Write about building PV cells maybe?
@canadiandanman: let the kids leave - they even don´t understand the massages in the lyrics. don´t want to share my place in concerts with some newborns changing there music style every 2 days.
Well, most of BR songs are strummed and don't need a tab, and this is no exception, maybe you're searching the strumming pattern of the chords, for that I haven't seen any but it looks like strum the first 2 strings of the chords and then strum all the strings of the chord, try it with the chords of the original reaching the tone with a capo, I hope that I solved your problem.
@canadiandanman ill agree exept the part they will always b a tru punk band u no that aged or not look at nofx there like 40somthin still kikin asss much love though
I pretty much just listen to anarcho-punk, hardcore punk, horror punk, deathrock, (classic/regular) punk, rockabilly, and psychobilly. Also (real) screamo, (real) emo, and (real) post-hardcore. Bands like: A//Political, Aus Rotten, Negative Approach, Minor Threat, Youth of Today, Charged GBH, 7 Seconds, The Misfits, Samhain, Balzac, Screaming Dead, 45 Grave, The Flesh Eaters, The Creepshow, The Cramps, Orchid, Pg 99, Ampere, Funeral Diner, Sunny Day Real Estate, Embrace, Fugazi, and tons more.
@CobainGears2FTW i know, thats how it is for most of mine too. i guess its just one of those things that some can't just understand, that's too bad. haha
@tomm4272 ha! yea man i went to leeds. i got backstage ,check out my vids, they are shit quality but it was still fucking amazing. i want to see them again, do you no when they are coming back, the new album sounds good too.
I can't believe that after over 20 years of being a diehard BR fan I continue to unearth clips like this that still blow me away
Rocky Lis me either
Rocky Lis agreed!
+Rocky Lis Same here. After so many years I only discovered this unplugged stuff some weeks ago. I guess that´s why the gods invented UA-cam :-))
Me too!! Amazing
Same
Holy crap. I never realized a high energy song like this could sound so good mellowed out. This is amazing. Thanks UA-cam algorithm for pointing me here.
I love Greg's voice so much!

Hi, Somebody knows where can I find this acoustic Guitar TAB? Tanks...

@mcimber You should look him up on rate my professor, some of the comments are funny

Porque no vienen ala futuro igual que candelbox
I've seen people go for punk at night and then go gangsta in 'da daytime. Identity can no longer be based on just the look. It is just so juvenile.
Agreed... Just look at Greg... College professor along with being a punk rocker...
chords?
someone on ukelele??
Anyone?
@nwjones1
:)
I really don't like they would like fans using that therm for the relationship to them....
@BringBRToTheUK The UK doesn't deserve BR
